They just updated the Google Korean IME (keyboard, see Play Store) in September.

It looks like you are suffering through a defect rather than a move to purposefully drop Korean support.

More Android phones come from Korea than anywhere else, I'm sure Google knows that.

I sympathize, it sounds like a frustrating problem. :(

Thanks but I'm confused about the September IME fix. Is that mean the problem is fixed? Can I update my phone with the latest update and I'll be OK?

Honestly, I don't know. It's very possible.

If that doesn't work, if you're rooted or interested in rooting your phone, I'm pretty sure that the Cyanogen rom provides the support you need. They have a great history of ensuring support beyond just English. You can check at cyanogenmod.org - there are probably others as well.

Our Galaxy Nexus All Things Root forum has folks familiar with your version, I'm sure you'll get a lot of help on that if you want it. :)

Being rooted is the same thing as admin privileges on your PC - you get more freedom to install what you need.

If the latest official update doesn't work, that's what I'd look into.

The electronic stripe is beneath the surface, and will not wear out as quickly as traditional cards

You happen to be right so far, lol. He's very active and actually wild in his movements a lot while the other one of mostly content and chill.

Wow. I'm really glad I went with the Nexus 5. This thing flies! And I do like KitKat. Very simple and neat. I like the transparency.

I hope the developer of Xposed framework updates his app soon, as well as the modules. But my biggest preference has to do with resizable navbar, which is available in many of the roms at this point, and transparency, which KK took care of.

If anyone is one the fence between the G2 or the Nexus, I say go with the Nexus. That's my strong feeling on the matter.

Today, anyway.
