Galaxy Note4

20180117-arm.zip

Go to the site and download its 6th from the bottom. In the event of bootloop caused by Xposed or Modules, then you can flash the unistaller.zip wipe chache/dalvik and chach from advanced setting TWRP and reboot.

I did it by guessing..but the problem now is that after getting xposed..I installed the back up I did with trwd or what ever the name is..and that threw me back to the stock room I was at..lol..

Ok, Just a bit of advice when using TWRP. Don't get impatient , dont get destructed and keep focused. One of the biggest mist I made was accidentally taping the check box , external sd when performing a wipe. Theres no popup like on androiod os asking are you sure, just gone. All my backups gone. I had a bootloop soft bricked device and all my backups gone.

Just the procedure, The N4 Verson numbers differ from the one in the video. Ours are

Xposed Framework 87.1-wanam.zip

Xposed installer apk V 3.1.1
or
Xposed installer apk V3.1.5

@Xavier Black

You can doenload moduals but only activate one at a time before you reboot, that way you lnow which one causes issues.

Be aware that the moduls ldiffer from mormal apps. Some of the more

powerful apps are also whats considered a user interface. There power is more than just a simple setting but rather a line/script/bash comand that will atlter the software if your phone. That means you cant just simply unistall or just wipe chach data uninstall. The module must be lauched and the setting change back to original. Sometimes even a reboot is necessary . Not all of the modules are user interfaces. Thought you should be aware of this.
Im hopeing to hear you have a rooted Xposed Note 4. Good luck Xavier.

I dont need the Xposed module "Resolver Activity Tweaks" because this feature is integrated as part of my custom rom.

In the module setting, I enabled "Hide once/Always and select an spp with a single click" and rebooted. The results are visible in the screen shot below.

Hello @Milo Willamson

@Xavier Black and I have become very good friends.

PS: Can you guys keep a secret. My avitars Buggs Bunny but in real life I look like Elmer Fudd. :) hahahehe
I am a giant sucker for Looney Tunes, been watching on and off The New Looney Tunes when they do come on the station, I have a few of them saved :)
I look like well.. .. Someone who wants to get away from its own reality grasps..

My all time favorites are the ones with orchestra/opra. Like the one with Buggs Bunny as a Barber and Elmer Fungs grows hair that turns into flowers.:) , the Leopold, Leopold, Leopold and the Viking one Buggs in drag. :) Not because hes in drag but the cartoon itself.

Yes javi, I did try every thing you suggested..I think my phone was not compatible with that rom..well one thing I did was I flashed it first..then went inside the app and made it reboot acquiring root privilege first..don't know if that was the downfall of my presidure..

Is your rom ode

Xposed Installer first (no models) grant root, reboot into recover then flash Xpised framework. Is that the order you followed?

What rom did you install that was not compatible?

and what rom are you currently using now?

If you on close to stock rom try GRX Touchwiz home V8 .zip mod. It just a suggestion, its easy peesy, japan easy, compared to Xposed. It Works with root and non-rooted Samsungs. It work with odexed or Deodexed close to stock roms. It even works on official Samsung firmwares.

Quick question

"I flashed it first..then went inside the app and made it reboot acquiring root privilege "

What order did you use?

A.

1. Installed the Xposed installer app (internal storage) and enable permissions befor you run the app (phone settings app info).
2. Run the application (top right corner three dot icon and tap, in the popout menu check reboot to recovery
3.Grant root

4. Flash the Xposed Framework and reboot
5. Download the " Resolver Activity Teaker V1.0.1" app module to internal storage but do not run the app.

OR?

B.

1. Xposed Framework
2. Install the Xposed app
3. Xposed module

The 2 main parts instsll the Xposed app
first.
Resolver Activity Tweaker V1.0.1

Many rooted app need the BusyBox app and binaries installed.

I did the A ..one thing I didn't like was it would allow me to go on with certain things unless I change certain other settings..like you mentioned "too repressive"..it just would not allow many things"..not even the stock rom is like that..
I'm running the 6.0 stock..the one I chosed was the stock odex..
Other thing was kind of slow..and the boot would take up to a minute to boot up..every times.
I liked the temperature of the phone while on it, though..
You mentioned to be careful if I decided to go back to stock..that those modules need certain uninstallation and they are dangerous..now in stock my phone is getting hi every times I pick it up..maybe I messed up..
I did odin my stock 6.0 and formatted it twice after I got rid of the custom just to be in the safe side..do you think a component or two of that custom odex remained in my phone???

Javi question..you mentioned I don't have to be in custom to have the Aroma mod?..if that's so..my main question is..with it am I gonna get the "once or always" thing???
