Galaxy Note4

I can't seem to see any thing dangerous about tasker..like I mentioned you before..my phone runs day in day out tasks that I invented of the top of my head..and I'm surprised with what you just said..maybe the op bricked his phone with something else but in his head was tasker..

I increased my data speed by playing with build prop..BIG BIG BIG BIG TIME..you know sometimes your phone enters and exists off of the network several times a day..for numerous reasons..whether because you are close to a big mass of trees..like a big forest park..like central park..or close to a big antenna radio or television..or close to a lake..or simply because you have a very awful network like T-Mobile..well let me telll you..my Note4 doesn't act like that any more..it just stays connected not matter what..and always in a wow speed..

Now, truth said..I don't think it is just the the build prop hack I did..I also invented a task on Tasker for it..

I did try for about a week the option there's in developer tab that keeps the data on at all the times..but I didn't wanna keep having that on for longer because those options in developer aren't to play with..

So I chosed different venues..and that's what I came up with..with SUPER GREAT RESULTS!!

So I was hoping some one is reading me..some one advance in the build prop..some of those guys who invented the BUILD PROPS TWEAKS..So this person can help us tweak it to bring the "once or always" dialog into the phone..am very sure..more than sure that can be adquired..I am just not that advance

Javi, educate me..help me comprehend what a Kernel is..I've been explained a hundred times..I haven't gotten it just yet
I'm not @MrJavi, but maybe I can help. :)

This Wikipedia entry does a good job of explaining what a kernel is. The bare-bones definition is: it's just a program! But it acts as the very core of the computer's operating system, and has absolute control over it.

Since I'm a Linux person, let me use that as an example. The operating system I use, Kubuntu Linux, sits on top of the Linux kernel. You can visit kernel.org to see current and past releases.

Although the current [as of today!] release is 5.4.13, Ubuntu--and, therefore, Kubuntu--still use 5.3.0 for their 19.10 version, which is what I'm using.

Does this help?

You have not idea all the things you can do with tasker..
What I gather from what I've read in the link you kindly sent me to was basically the kernell it's sot of an administrator that controls everything that happens in a computer or a phone in terms of behaviour and functioning..
So..that's to some stand what tasker is..an administrator but it's an app that you tell it to administrate your phone..it does exactly what you tell it to do..
Interesting article..I'm reading it again..

Hey how can I get in contact with one of those guys from XDA that created those tweaks??

No, I just haven't found a need for it yet. :)

Tasker is basically a GUI-based Android app of the *nix cron command--which I started using 30+ years ago. With cron, from a command line, I automated everything from nightly backups to logging out specific users at specific times. Trust me, when I come across something that would benefit me to automate, I'll be on it!

Kind of...sort of... It's like the foundation of a house--without a strong foundation and great support, the house will crumble. :o

No. As above, Tasker is simply a tool to do things -you- tell it. The kernel is the very foundation of the device. Two completely, totally different things.

Good! I'm glad. It's a great starting point, but there's plenty more to read if you want to--just search for 'kernel' and dive in! :D

Faster than before??

The N7 kernel isreal decent but The BeastMod Kernel was a monster both are from my Sprint N4 and bother were developed by Freeza a senor member of XDA. Anyway, I cant downgrade, the older 6.0 or 6.0.1 roms where built with a specific bootloader and modem . The devopers usualy sost you must be on the 5DQ15 update especially the bootloder and modem. I cant downgrede because my firmware os fused 5.and everthung below that is fused 4. I believe your on a fused 3 therefore you can downgrede to a firmware

Count 5 digits from the end of your official f
Were you able to root again?

Yea, lol it took me a while be yes. The two costume kernel r56 and r61 are by the deliper Freeza. I was trying to port .r61 the boot.img to the r56 custom kernel and it did speed up my device but could no root. Its weird but root checker confirms toot binarys but even though I have the SuperSu app cant update binarys. The root checker say no super user app installed even though it is. I need to do more research but chances are I'll have to use a pc to unpack the boot.img and modify parts of one to the other. I problem is I have no idea how to do that. I know what tools to download but other than that IDK. LoL

How the heck did I get to #88 Omg. Im not complaining just pleasantly surprised. I hadn't log in in 2 days. Thanks AF, much appreciated.

I have both kernel but my regular root file explore dosent copy and past when it comes to kernel my other one Zarchiver Pro does part but not all. I guess, I'll see if I have better luck with ApkToolX.

Ok, now Im going to try it another way. This time Im replacing r56 BeastMod boot.img with the r61BeastMod boot.img in the Aroma inataller Dtux custom rom.zip before flashing it in TWRP. Its worth a try. Dam, If was so freaking fast but no root AAAHHH!!!!
The first thing I did is creat a file on my external sd to copy the o the original r56 boot.img. Then, I went back to Dtux rom and renamed the r56 boot.img to boot1.img. After thst , I copyed the r61 boot.img and pasted it to the Dtux/Aroma/kernel/beast/boot.img. Then I erased the boot1.img.
My hope is of the r56 kernel's governors, overclock features, and working root access will be integrated into the r61 boot.img. I also am aware the the boot.img is pretty much a kernel in itself but when I open the custom kernel which I downloaded as individual .zip's there are many other files and folders along with it.
I was thinking about using pc and android kitchen but looking back at the boot.img and seeing Korean language is just pushing the difficulty to a whole nother level.

Yea! I have aftermarket batterys and I just pop them out and out and put another one in. I have a Samsung battery charger so my phone is never pluged in, just pop out and put another one. However, My batterys are old as nd I need to buy 2 more before they completely die out.
I also have 2 stallion external battery chargers built into a case but the quality kind suck. LoL. I just may end up purchasing what you have :)

As you can see, my custom basic deodexed stock rom has the same once/always sets itself to default. So um going to install Xposed installer the reboot into recovery flash Xposed framework then install the module and reboot. Show that it does work with my Note 4. I just font understand why it doesn't work with yours.

When you raise or lower your Ringtone volume side key rocker panel (hardware buttons) does your phone make a loud notification beep? You know each press up beep, beep ,beep and each press to lower beep, beep, beep?

If you decide to try this, I urge you to copy the file to external sd before you erase it. A back-up

@Xavier Black, You did everything correctly with Xposed. Great job my friend. I just found out it doesn't work on my custom stock rom either. 6.0 MM to 6.0.1MM, I'll look for the other Xposed module tbat did the same t The problem is I dont remember what it was called. Sorry ,it used to work. Thatwas one of the things, I hated about MM, I know exactly how you feel about it.
@Xavier Black my friend, Ill try and find a working method
