Galaxy S24 Series

what browser are you using? maybe try a different browser.
I did. I also cleared the cache, followed some instructions on settings, and even un-installed and reinstalled the program to some avail. It's just not consistent. But I tried just about every googled suggestion that made sense.

On my Pixel if I click to view a PDF it automatically downloads it and displays it. I can then find the PDF in Files>Downloads and delete it if I want too. Here's a pic

That's similar that what I'm trying to avoid. Sometimes I just like to open the PDF and move on. Now that it sometimes makes me d/l the PDF, I have to go in and delete it. I had TONS of old PDF's cluttering up my old phone. I just recently gave it a good cleaning before transferring everything to the S24U. Now I find myself cleaning again. Yeah, I could just ignore it, but had hoped for a fix if someone had found something that would fix that error message.

Add my name to the list. Bixby does a TON of things Google Assistant can't. I used to love S-Voice too, but everyone preferred Google Now for some reason. Google Now couldn't even toggle Wifi on/off or set an alarm!

Remember Wear OS 2.x? I felt sorry for the many who couldn't even use Google Assistant on their watches because it failed so much with 'that didn't work' or 'sad cloud icon' while Bixby worked flawlessly on my Galaxy Watch.

Never understood the hate for Bixby. It works fine. I am not sure if Galaxy AI is for the camera only or a new voice assistant.

Just curious if anyone can see this post. I even struggle to find it sometimes.

I've seen it. I'm in need of an upgrade and tend to scan the posts with newer phones. If you need to frequently visit that post you should bookmark it

I tried but was unable to. Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure that it even posted. I've had to hit the "post" button a couple of times to get some of my posts to go through. Wasn't sure if it was my phone or not because I didn't see any replies. Thanks again.

News is that the Galaxy S25 series will have SoC chipsets based on the 3nm process. Even the upcoming Exynos 2500 is rumored to be more efficient than the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

Not only that, but Samsung fans won't have to wait until next year to get that processor: the Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to be released in a couple of months, and it will have the 3nm processor!

I'm ceaselessly astonished by how many transistors they can pack onto a tiny slice of silicon. If this keeps up, in 5 years we'll have molecular transistors... and the only way Moore's Law will stand is to switch to quantum processors.

Well, ol' Grumpy has finally decided to upgrade today. Just placed my order in for an S24+. Have no need for the S pen.
It was between a Pixel 8 or the Samsung and the extra memory on the S24+ won out.

I'm hoping I made the right choice.
Haven't had a Samsung since my old S5, which I dearly loved.

Welcome to the club. Were you able to take advantage of any trade-ins? I think you'll like the S24+.

Well, the new phone showed up this afternoon. While I have opened the box, it's still inside while I back up the old LG, which gets me to a question. When I transfer things to the Samsung how does the things that are on the old MSD card get transferred to the Samsung storage?
I've always been a fan of using the MSD cards to store ebooks and the like on them.

Found out that the Samsung Smart Switch app was able to transfer everything that I needed. Individual apps that I had saved to drive were successfully imported. I'm now getting all the small stuff sorted out,
Mine transfered everything over, and put my SD drive in a directory that I had to later go in and "re-direct" to get things where I wanted them. It took a while, but it was manageable. How are you liking your new phone so far? I still have my S22 Ultra as a game device and backup. Did your S21 get upgraded to AI?

None of the music that I had on the MSD card was transferred. I figure that I can add that later. After messing with it trying to get the initial setup, last night the Smart Switch happened to be the quickest.

Ui went through 3 or 4 updates this morning. I'm not quite sure what all was done.

I've still got the weekend to tweak it to my liking. I'm still trying to get one bubble out of my screen protector. Spent good money on Zagg and I'm not ready impressed.

I think I had to use Smart Switch 2 or 3 times before it moved everything. I even had a few program apps that were not compatible. They transfered, but we're grayed out.

I think Zagg has a lifetime warranty, so be sure to activate it using the Barcode on the box. My Verizon reps said that most just throw the box away (I probably would have), but it's initially needed for the warranty.

Í finally got the bubble down. Took a while but I did it. As for keeping boxes and the sort, I keep EVERYTHING. Never know when they'll come in handy.

Got a question, now...
I can't get the site, accessed from Google, to get placed on the home screen. The option simp isn't there. Any ideas?

There was an option to download app, I hit that and got the EBC app.
No issues with another app, but I never had it on my LG.
IDK. If anyone has another option, let me know.
