Got woke up early this morning by the eas for flash flood warnings (again) in Colorado. Boulder in real bad shape... Denver included in warning area too...

Soggy around here. Good thing I am on vacation this week, don't look like I would be able to make it in otherwise.

Warnings still posted. Slow moving rain showers with moderate to heavy amounts of rain, basically "training" in areas.

Reports of streets flooded, some even washed out! Parking lots turned to ponds, a few dams have broke one very near by, a retaining pond, at the arsenal. A few reports of basements flooded.

Dam breach at the arsenal

So far house is dry.

My wheelbarrow is filled to the brim:

We just got a substantial band of storms through here but nothing that big, Aj.
"Nice" to hear some thunder though. :)
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

We've been getting a good deal of rain where I am for the past 2-3 days. And when the sun comes back out, it just adds to the humidity. It just makes you feel miserable.

Heat wave finally broke here in Ohio today. Been in the 90's all week, supposed to be highs in the 60's tomorrow.

Crap. Mandatory evacs issued for around Rocky mountain national wildlife refuge at the arsenal! The arsenal is nearly in my front yard!

I am NOT part of the evacuation area (yet?) but its freaky...

Getting too close for comfort. The evacuation area is denoted in red...

Damn. Well, get out of there if you have to, but I hope you don't have to. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ya.

Its been rough here but even worse for Denver and Boulder. I'm heading into work for a few to see how bad the damage is.

Someone estimated if this rain was snow we would be under 12' of snow.
