Yes. I still check uot this thread. I received a surprise from VZW at 2PM this afternoon. I guess what they say about better late than never is true. I never thought the SGS 3 would get kitKat.

Still using my GS3. Anybody who's not rooted and doesn't want to mess with kies, check out Towel Root. Rooted my phone in 15 seconds.

My Moto G is the only device left not rooted and I really have no intention to go that route. It's really just a media player for me and it's pretty perfect as is. :)

My brother cracked the screen on his moto g. I'm so lucky with all the times that mine flew out of my pocket while riding a bike that I only have a few dents in mine.

This is the only Android phone I've had that I hadn't rooted, I just didn't see any reason to, but I was reading the article about Towel Root and said what the hell. It's like the old days of Z4Root, just push a button and you're rooted. Only rooted thing I've done with it is Adfree Android and Droidwall.

Just now finally reading about Towel root and it "appears" (again, just dipping my toes in the water) not to work with Motos. I'll keep looking though, but again, not a huge deal breaker for me.
 
Heading to California in the morning. Gotta go through the remainder of items left there. Other than that I am just super busy with quilting and embroidery at the moment. Which is probably a good thing since it's HOT here !
 
Maybe we can have a good old fashioned pool party one of these days? I could bring some mojiti or sangria? :beer::beer:

Was close to 100F on Wednesday but yesterday was a lot more bearable. This weekend the humidity and heat will return.
But, all and all, it hasn't been as swampy a summer as DC notoriously is, so can't complain too much.
