Galaxy S3 Watering Hole

Allow me to translate:

Why is it my job to tell you that I want a new phone? No, no, I'm happy with this one. Really.

The conversation went like this:

Me: How is your phone?
Her: It's OK.
Me: Do you want a new phone?
Her: Facebook, pinterest, and candy crush still run fine, I'm all set?

So you can see her mobile tech needs are far simpler than mine.

Mine's still working perfectly. Really not even interested in replacing it, but I'm going to have to when Cricket shuts down their CDMA network. I don't care about playing games on my phone, so all the extra power of the new phones doesn't really tempt me. Plus all of the huge phones are a turn off for me.

Yeah.

We've had almost the same discussion.

Tomorrow we go shopping.

I wish you all the luck!

Simple tech needs are easy to accommodate. All people need is a basic smartphone that has internet, Facebook, camera and their all set.

All I need is that. Moto g, still running great, but running slow at times.

^ Yep!
My phone needs are pretty basic, but unfortunately the thing I want the most is a great camera and ya really need to go high end on that. If the Moto G had a larger screen and a better camera (okay a MUCH better camera ;)), it could certainly be my daily driver.

Ya the camera on this thing isn't too good, but for the price of the phone, it ain't bad.

I may however be getting the Note 4 if it's something that wows me. Only if I get a new job I may want to go with sprint on their new plan in Chicago.

I just don't want to get stuck in a contract.

Still using my S3 paired to a ZeroLemon extended battery.

And BTW...I'm calling it...yesterday was the official last day of summer...its almost noon here and its 51 degrees...with highs in the 70's and mid-40s-50s forecast lows for the next 10 days.

Wife gave the green light on a new snow-thrower...gonna be shopping around for that next week.

Everyone is great. Navy Lin is doing amazing headed to Guam right about now. I'm doing fabulous just doing my own thing . Tons of sewing and I have taken up glass etching as a new hobby. How are you these days?

Glass etching, you'll have to post photos of your work. Life's good here. Just getting ready for winter.:(

hi guys so does anyone here still have the s3 being over 2 years old?

My wife is still using her S3 with no problems.

It lives on.

Some of these watering holes may never die if people continue to use them.

I wonder if in 5 years the galaxy nexus watering hole will still be active.

I've been trying out a note 3 for a while, and the only thing I feel the s pen is useful for is Web browsing.

And I use the s pen every day on my note.

I use my s pen everyday explicitly while I am in class it is grate for notes and writing dont little things then have it type it out for you

I use my note tablet every day in school. However I even think my 10.1 tablet is even too small.

I can see using a note phone as something to make small notes for, but not using it as heavily as I do for a period of time.

Not trying to bash the phone, I just don't see a point in having a pen on a phone.
However I'm still considering a note 4 for my next phone. Just because of the amazing camera. It's like a 4k camera right? That's amazing. And the size is cool too. Hope it don't bend like the 6.
