Galaxy S3 Watering Hole

can confirm see the bend tests and tried to bend a friends phone and that was a no go lol .... although he didnt like that I tried to do that to his phone lol

I still have mine. Had it since July 2012. I was tempted to replace it twice. Once it was when the Nexus 5 was released a year ago. Another time it was the OnePlus One earlier this year. I decided that it wasn't worth my spending hundreds of dollars to replace a phone that is still working really well for me. Instead, I bought an extended battery.

I anticipate replacing my phone next year some time. I am waiting for Project Ara to be completed and have a comercially available phone. I am hoping one of the modules available for an Ara phone would be a physical, landscape slider keyboard like my old HTC Desire Z and Nokia N97.
 
The ara sounds so cool about now. Not worth replacing a while phone when you can just replace a single part for the fraction of the cost.

I'd put a lot of memory on my phone with a good camera, and a long battery life.
 
My international S3 is doing a system update of 81.something MB.
No idea what's going on?

Update: still on 4.3. That will never change.
 
My S3 is still with me although it is currently turned off because my G3 has replaced it. It's still is great shape and selling it isn't on my mind right now.
 
Good morning all... Just dropping by to see who is still around. I can barely figure out a way to navigate around anymore. They changed this place considerably I see.

Crazy... I thought it was just my eyes? I look on the page, click on the link and I don't see the "widget" that is supposed to be there. Maybe the reds are sitting back watching us search and enjoying their coffee....

According to the ad on the opening page it states....

  • At the bottom of each “Gift Idea” post will be a widget that allows you to enter the Giveaway for that day.
Where is the widget ? @Unforgiven , did I mess this up. I haven't exactly been up on my technology lately .
 
That is something coming in from the ad vendor. I'm not getting that ad, I'm getting Sprint and Best Buy.:rolleyes: Can you post a screen grab and I'll have admin take a look.
