I notice this past weekend that the gas was higher in Wichita than Derby. It's still $3.06 here but $3.15 in town.

Gas prices?

I don't know exactly when the increase occurred but gassing up the mowers this morning was a slap in the face. Regular gas went from $3.06 to $ 3.39 a gallon for no apparent reason. I pulled out my cheat card and saved $2.30 a gallon. I've been letting that discount accumulate for the past six months or more. Filled up my big mower, my two part gas can and topped off my truck.
I read Beryl will cause a gas price hike.
The gas prices here have fallen a bit. It was $3.39 and is now $3.35. I feel much better.

Gas in town has dropped to $3.29 but I just got back from riding my bike and the gas price in the next town South was $ 3.14 a gallon.

I just got home from filling up the wife's jeep. Regular is still $3.29 here.

You paid 42¢ more per gallon This still doesn't make a lot of sense. I think we are all getting ripped off.
That's the state tax on top of the federal gas tax. The "greedy" oil companies (that do the exploration, testing, drilling and licensing) earn roughly 13¢ a gallon. For all that work and investment... yet governments take more with a vote. Who's greedy?

I filled up the mowers Thursday with $3.25 gas. Seeing a decrease is certainly welcome no matter how small.

In an attempt to get the majority of the weekend gas sales, the gas prices have been lowered to $3.15 by the largest outlets.
I filled up my wife's Jeep yesterday with $3.09 gas.
Gassed up today at $3.629 at my regular station.
