Gas prices?

The gas prices here have dropped again to $3.06 per gallon. It might have been down for a few days, I haven't been by a station. I needed to fill up a couple of mowers today and saw it was back down in price.
Just got gas in Henderson, Kentucky. It blew me away $2.89
Gas here has returned to $3.06 per gallon. It's not under three bucks though.
Was talking to a buddy of mine from Minneapolis and told him the gas was $2.89 in Henderson, Kentucky. He told me it's been $2.99 at Costco by him for a few weeks now.
After buying gas for $2.89 I discovered the next town south in Kentucky had it for $2.85 🤣
Bought gas today. Still at $3.06

Gas prices went up three cents. $3.09
$3.17 here today.
I would suggest moving to Kansas but that's a high price to pay for cheap gas. 
i found a gas station here in LA that was selling the 87 grade for $4.18/gal....that is the cheapest i have found in a long time!!!!!
I saw gas had gone up again across town but it was actually back to $3.06 where I trade.

That seems a terrible price to pay. I can't see any particular reason it is priced so high. Gas here is still $3.06. My wife just drove to Arizona from Kansas and kept her gas receipts. She averaged paying just over three bucks a gallon. Why is your gas prices so inflated?
I'll tell you what bothers me more than gas prices. Every 6 months my two cars get older and worth less and State Farm keeps increasing my insurance payment.

I have State Farm as well. They have had my insurance since 1967. My son says I'm a fool for not shopping their rates. He changes insurance companies ever year or two. Whoever cuts him the best deal gets his business. The company he has this year not only saved him money but by paying for his three vehicles up front for the year he saved even more. I don't even know the agent I have now. The original guy sold his business upon retiring and that guy that bought it just recently died. Might be a good time to do a little shopping.
I'm glad that's working for your son. I have checked rates and could save a little here or there, but there doesn't seem to be true competition when I check rates. As soon you enter your name and address they know who you are and what cars you have. I think the fix is in.

I have not shopped my policies. Fortunately I've only had to deal with two agents through the years. I'm all about saving money but I'm not anxious to deal with the process of shopping or changing.
