the nexus prime doesnt exist yet...
nexus prime was the name samsung was going to give the next nexus device if they are making it, and so far that was just a rumor, so now we have no idea who the next nexus manufacturer will be. if its moto, hopefully they will not have that qHD display in it.
so as of right now you have about 4-5-6 months to wait til the next nexus device is revealed.

It just depends on how badly you want the phone. $600 dollars is a lot of money to shell out on a phone.

you can buy a 42" or 47" tv for that much, and be much happier

granted i spent $2000 on a 50" LG LCD TV that only has 720p 
and a LG Surround Sound with Blueray, and iPod connectivity

My droid x is faster than my mom's droid 3 when my droid x is running liquid 2.3 rom.
In all honesty, I want the bionic. But why upgrade when my droid x is running faster than a dual core phone? Hell I don't even have 4G. I may as well wait for the dinera.

I would be interested in a Nexus phone, but i dont see anything that blows away my X to bother with spending $200-300
