Google I|O 2012

It is almost time. This year it starts on June 27th (Wednesday).

Let's use this thread to discuss predictions leading up to the event and then news as it is announced.

Based on leaks so far I think it is safe to assume a Nexus tablet is going to be announced and also Android 4.1 jellybean.

I am hoping that Google announces something about multiple Nexus devices and when they will be on sale on Google Play. I hope Google will also announce a release of their voice assistant.

What is everyone else hoping for?

I read the app description and it doesn't look like it has streaming. It looks more like it is schedules, etc for the people there.

Not released. It is currently being alpha tested by a select few high ups at Google. If it had been released I would have one already.

I am excited for :

1. 7" Android Tablet (been waiting and was about to pull the trigger on a 10", but with the guts in the Android 7" (rumored) and the fact that I want to read books, the 7" looks like a win win for under $200.

2. Jellybean - nuff said

3. Project Glass - Not that I would wear something like this at this point, but the tech looks extremely promising!
