Root GPS/Navigation Issues

haven't read this whole thread so forgive me if i duplicate stuff, or worse yet, contradict...

I have hear it suggested to update prl and profile, not sure why that would help but only takes a minute.

I have an app called gps test, it gives option to clear agps and update agps, might try that.

some apps claim to 'fix' gps too, think that is all they do.

Might try a fw different sense nands.

Might try powering down and pulling the battery for a bit and press power with it out to discharge and maybe unlatch something electronic.

you already try the codes you can type on keyboard and the zip flashes?

edit: yep, duplicating, and making same mistakes regarding zips as last time. I have had to go through loading like 3 sense roms before it would work on 2 different occasions. good luck!

Yeah updated PRL and profile. Still nothing.

And explain further about the keyboard and zip flashes.

Also, what are some of these apps that say they fix GPS?

I'll be honest with you; after reading this thread and looking at all the software fixes you've tried, I think it's time to consider you may have hardware failure on your hands. You should probably take it to Sprint to have them check it out.

How does this work on a phone that is rooted? Do they say anyhing? I've never had any problems where it warranted me going there to have something looked at.

most of the time being rooted is not an issue as long as the issue is not root related. i would just flash a stock rom and then take it in. if they make a stink about it, you can come back here and we can help you unroot the phone.
