Okay, I can solve this for all of you having connection issues.
1. Use ONLY the drivers for the LGLS855. If you use other compatible drivers, the "nice name" of the ports will be correct, but vid/pid and other infos may be wrong. That will cause a failure as this app and DLL files are set to only work with a particular product. For example, I used the Verizon United drivers at first, and had nothing but issues connecting (all the same errors I keep seeing in all these threads...param xxx).
2. If you enable the diagnostics (serial) port (it is disabled when powered on and does not accept DM commands when powered off), then you will not have any issues with timing. The timing thing of "turn phone on, only have 5 sec window" is just a trick to hit the port as the phone boots and it will accept a DM command for a few secs. This is a horrible way to do this and you should enable the port. If you don't know how, I can only give you one of the methods (others are private discovery). Dial ##PORT# and enter your SPC code. If you do not have it, then tough luck. Then just check the box.
3. Stop being a noob. There are hundreds (literally) of pages on the web about this device. Though I am very experienced with CDMA device programming, I still read every single page before even making an effort at this. Knowledge is power....power over your crappy Boost LG855.
Btw- You can get to DL Mode with vol^ + cam while insert USB, but the diag port is still disabled for DM. There are surely other benefits to using this port, however my needs have been met. No more time for this device.

Back to bigger and better things. I have the latest Frimware for Boost, Sprint, and Generic in CP/AP BIN files. I also have the factory DLL files for each carrier.
FEW THINGS FIRST:
1. No, these dll files are not for LGNPST, so you will not be able to use that little proggy to do your bidding.
2. If you are not 100% sure of what I am talking about regarding anything in my post, or anything in this thread....then please do us both a favor and DO NOT CONTACT ME!
3. If you are a dev, or a very experienced user and would like some (or all) of the files I've mentioned, and will not need to ask me 9,834,509,730,459,872 questions after I send them, then you are welcome to contact and I'll FTP them suckas in a flash.
