Ohhhh, you're talking about quick compose. See I don't use any of the popup or quick compose features so I haven't noticed, but yes, I'll fix that and have an updated version tomorrow. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions guys!

Does anyone know if there is a way to save the settings in handcent so you don't have to set them up again after a reinstall?

I've done two installs of this version of handcent..all settings stayed.

How exactly did you do that? I tried installing one over an already installed version that I made, and the only options Astro gave me was the uninstall or launch. What file manager are you using? Are you rooted?
 
I would use handcent if there was a way to change font size in the conversation list and in the outgoing msg box. Is there any adjustments for this? I know original handcent didnt have a way to adjust.

I didn't use astro. I downloaded the file to my phone using xScope and you can install files from there.

You can change font size if you use a font pack. I still can't get them to install but others have.....

Ditto that. I've been downloading the updated versions with Dolphin Browser, and in the downloads window I can just click the downloaded APK file to install it. It automatically overwrites the old one and keeps my settings. Here's a screenshot of what I get when I click the APK:

For some reason I can't download the latest one directly to my phone, though. FileDropper says "download unsuccessful" every time I try. It was working before with Mediafire.

You can change the font size for the conversation by going into Handcent, settings, and click Font size.

The only options are small, normal, and large though..
 
Thanks Nest, I was getting the "download unsuccessful" from the OP link also, yours works tho.

The reason you can install the edited versions over another edited version is because they have the same signature, which is different from the signature of the official version signed by the developer.
 
New version? what did you do now? after the pop up txt window? Hell I have to check if I even up dated to that one... Lol some one txt me :)

I saw that today. I'll get on that as soon as I can. Being 17 and a webmaster for currently 2 and about to be 3 websites isn't easy. Along with managing girlfriend problems, and playing guitar in the church praise band. Geez my life just got busy.

Anyways that's beside the point. I'll try to have it either by the end of this weekend or Monday.
