Root Hate to say it...

apavolka

Android Enthusiast
When I tried fission I loved it. Then I tried apex but my phone part of my, well PHONE, did not work. So I went back to fission and swype that I would stick with it. It has better battery life than stock and the rom manager is awesome. (Un)fortunately I moved over to try gummy. I put it through my tests. Five hours of pandora and some web browsing plus another couple hours of non stop web and my battery seems to last twice as long. other than that though, it seems to match fission in everything else. I think I found MY rom.

Why do you hate to say it? Everyone has to find a rom that they are comfortable with. It is a good thing that we have so many fine choices. It wasn't always that way because of the locked bootloader. So we rejoice! :)

Because I thought I would always be a fission guy :P

Yeah don't apologize. The great thing about Android is choice. I'm about to try Fission, and as I don't expect to like it as much as I do GummyJAR I go into with an open mind. If it works better on my phone then I will gladly come on here and admit that I am now a Fission guy and not a GJ user any more. It won't mean I love GummyJAR any less mind you.

Also keep in mind that not all of our devices react to the different ROMs exactly the same. So what works better for you on your DX may not be the same for me or Steven. It just so happens that GummyJAR has worked the best SO FAR on my DX. So to this point anyway, I agree with you.

Seeing some of the customization that is coming with Liberty, I am readily waiting to flash my gummyjar backup to install the Liberty release :)

Isn't Liberty sort of a cross between Fission and GummyJAR? Sounds like that's right up your alley apovolka! :)

I went from Apex-->Gummy-->Fission-->Gummy

Currently running GummyJar 2.5 on Nex Theme 2.5/Matted Blue theme

My battery use to not even last me 3/4 of my work day (stock rom). Once new roms were aplied the batery life was way better. I didnt even need a charge up untill 7:30pm and by that time I am home already. If Liberty is a mixture of Gummy and Fission, I will definatly run that ROM on my phone.

I went UD>Apex>GummyJAR>Rubix>GummyJAR>Tranquility>Brick>GummyJAR>Tranquility>Brick>GummyJAR...

My next quest is Fission. And if anything goes wrong with this damn ROM I swear I will be completely convinced that my DX is in love with GummyJAR, and throws a fit when I try anything different. It would be the only explanation that would make any sense at all.

I went From Rubix Blury> TranQ >Brick > Rumm Rx (one of my personal favorites btw) >Apex > Fission > Apex> GummyJar (and loving it)......... awaiting Liberty... and then Again I LOVE Rumm RX ROM,I admit it... I like Blur, a little, when it behaves LOL

Thats the one JRummy made, right? Oh wait, actually I guess Liberty is a cross between RummRX and GummyJAR since it's JRummy & Kjar collaborating on it... right?

yeah Jrummy16 and Kejar31 are joining forces,, so yeah I guess u could say that,, I like Both ROMs, GummyJAR and Rumm RX,, may be thats the reason Why Im so excited about Liberty :D

As of today at 2am mountain time I'm on Apex V1.0 Linear theme :-D. Loving every second of it too. Thankfully I'm off from work today and a lot of testing is been done. Checking which theme I like the best.

I'm running liberty. It's a breakthrough for sure. Great rom (GummyJar) Fantastic configurability (JRummy). It's classy.
