Root Heading back to Apex.

Glad to know I'm not the only one going back to apex...cm7 was fun, but the short battery life got old...tried the imoseyon tweaks, thought it helped the first day, but after that it went back ....so now I'm back to apex, gonna wipe battery stats in the morning and do some full charges, hope to have better battery life

Sad to say I was excited about the Imoseyon tweaks at first thinking it would really do something for the pissy battery life on CM7. Unfortunately I can now say after being on them a week or so that it hasn't really helped anything noticeable. :(

PS: Yes, I have flashed them after each subsequent flash/nightly and have come to the above conclusion.

I'm still going to try it for myself; I need to see the results for myself :D
 
I don't understand why anyone would think that the Imoseyon tweaks would drastically improve battery life...they are not advertised to do anything of the sort...
 
no the toolbox isnt up, and hasnt been for quite some time, hopefully when fab releases the final build it will be back online... hopefully
 
He doesn't really concentrate too much effort on the X anymore, but can you blame him? He's had 2 or 3 different phones after the X already.

We should just be glad we even have ApeX GB for the X.

yes they did, and there have been others it has done a number on, but when you abuse them it can turn bad, and unfortunately his case was just a little too heart breaking..
 
I think it's best to just stay away from that kind of stuff. It's nothing but bad news. Unless it's prescribed medically because you "really" need it...
 
whats really strange is, steroids was supposed to be the miracle drug, for small men and women i believe but mainly men, it was meant to help them, and in turn, it can ruin their lives.

I was thinking about trying APEX out myself, currently in the process of d/ling the all in one from the TBH app. I assume I just have to wipe everything, mount system, and flash the zip for 596 and I'll be good. Then from there I can d/l APEX from Rom Manager or the XDA website and flash again, right? Am I missing anything?

Were you able to get that all in one to .596 to work? I've tried it multiple times on multiple roms and it has never worked for me. I've even tried deleting it and redownloading it to make sure I have a good copy, just breaks my phone.

I know I tried it once and it didn't work for me. I ended up having to sbf my way back.
