Root Hefty problem with Infected rom

Well-Known Member
I just updated to the latest build of infected last night. r42 I think.... Anyway, with 4 hours and 30 minutes since I have been plugged in I have gone from 100% battery to 10%. My battery usage says 38% went to media and 27% went to display with the rest spread out pretty normally.

I think the culprit is the android market. Somehow when I linked my google stuff to the phone it tried to redownload all my apps. Never had that happen before. Usually I have to use a backup app to get them back. So ever since last night I have the little downloading stuff arrow in my top bar area. when I pull it down it says its downloading a bunch of apps. But when I open the market there are no apps downloading so I cant even try to cancel the downloads. Also, when I try and download any app at all it downloads at about 2 kb/sec and either just stops completely somewhere around halfway or just fails all together. The speed does not increase at all when connected to wifi. I have restarted several times, that does not help either.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

try wiping dalvik cache and cache and reboot. if that does not work then try and re-flash the rom.

no but as ocn said try to wipe dalvick and cache. also may want to go into Accounts and Sync and turn off google sync for now until you can get your apps restored.
