Root Help Asap !!

ok so heres the story .... went to a party last night really don't remember much but from what i was told i dropped my phone and the batterie came out normal stuff soo i go to try and take a picture and my camera doesn't work like i tap the icon and it goes to a blank screen but EVERYTHING ELSE on the phone works fine just not the camera .... the phones rooted and i don't wanna pay $100 at sprint to get it fix if someone on here may know whats wrong with it .. i need a camera on my phone lol i feel like a part of me is gone :D
 
well if is a hardware issue, i would unroot it and take in to see if it is fixable. however if it is a software issue then try and re-flash the rom you are on. there are also camera apk's you can try and download and unstall.
 
i fixed it ... i took that back cover off took a Q-tip and cleaned it and i guess i pressed to hard but i heard a snap sound so i put everything back on and BAM!! it worked .. so i don't know if it came loose or what but it works fine again ..... Thanks for the help everyone
 
I have seen a few of these ... my buddy dropped his last week and same thing happened...

the jolt from dropping the phone has caused the camera to become unseated from the board...sometimes they can be fixed by pressing firmly on the lens and it pushes the camera connection back in place.

out of curiosity what hardware version is your phone...I see it more on 0004 phones
