K-pull out the battery-put it back in and when you power the phone on hold both volume rockers down and the power button simultaneously. When you see the LG screen release the power button and press it three times.
You should then be prompted to erase all data on the phone-press the power button to confirm.
As you said you have CWM recovery installed when it is complete it will boot into CWM. Then you can choose the #2 ROM on your sd and flash it(install from zip).
 
Hmm iDid That But Still Samething Just Now The Green Andriod With The Arrow Coming Out Of The Box , Keeps Rebooting My Phone & Going To That Now it Stopped & its Staying On The Andriod with The Exclamation Mark in The Triangle
 
Go flash my touch recovery manually instead of through rom manager. I think they have several bugs right now with installing the new versions.

You don't want to keep flashing and it being corrupt cause you might get stuck again and not boot.

Just flash it manually that way you know for a fact it flashes and then we can go from there.

Then instead of using the power plus volume method, open up Android commander and choose bout into recovery from there.

This will eliminate all variables.
 
still samething iflashed it in rom manager it works says successful but when itry & install any zip from sd card samething with the green android no zip wants to install everyone itry it fails

Ooh so you can get into recovery?

Have you tried flashing from internal? Could be your sd card
 
just to rom manager the phones on ican make calls & all but every zip itry & install it does that it wont let me get to the recovery mode to where you have to only use the power &side buttons everytime it try to go there iget this

even when itry to back up my current rom it does that

You tried flashing it from my post right?

Put in another sd card and try flashing it again.

Something is flashing our else it wouldn't give you the error, it would just boot as normal when you try the combo.
 
idont knoe if its the sd card its never done this before irooted it but off of rom manager it gave me a list of the broken out rom , plagued & gingerbread but thats not on rom manager anymore
 
OK look, my patience is wearing. If you want to get your phone fixed you need to quit messing with it while I'm trying to tell you what to do. I've given you several options and i have no clue what your doing.

So if you want to get it fixed, pay attention and reply back and let's fix one issue at a time. It shouldn't take 10 minutes between each reply. I can't just sit here waiting on you to play with it and try to fix it when I'm giving you options.

If you want to fix this let's do it. If you want to fix it yourself let me know so i can quit waiting.
 
ididnt do anything to it im telling you what idid before when ipreviously rooted it iwent to rom manager then downloaded a ROM From Download ROM & That Worked But Everyother way itry to do it iget that error

Ok, see i didn't know you were trying to flash a ROM from ROM manager i though the issue was with flashing recovery.

Well have you tried just putting the ROM on your sd card and flashing it? I don't know of too many people that flash straight from RM.
 
Remember i can't see what you see i can only go off what you tell me.

So i think i finally understand after putting all the posts together. Flashing a ROM through RM works but flashing a ROM from sd doesn't?
 
the issue is icant get into the recovery where you only use the power button & volume buttons my lg esteem is running on zvd its rooted but icant install the broken out rom or any rom iget that error that iposted in the picture & it just stays on that until i pull out the battery or hold the volume buttons & power buttons it wont backup my current rom or anything
 
yes icould download one straight from Rom manager & it Works But Everytime i try & install it off the sd or internal memory iget that error
 
So how are you booting into recovery?

have you tried a different sd card? Or tried flashing from internal?
 
the picture belows not my phone but icant get to this menu on the phone just that stuiped error everytime

Are you using the correct cwm folder its one on the internal and one on the external. You want to use the external one . If that one has the data files removed u need to reset data in the manage apps on the phone so use the file ez wipe from the famous ldrift . And see what happen
