Root Help - possible bricked phone

It is possible that you need the other set of files which are not available in that thread because they were posted on megaupload (which was taken down a little while back for piracy related stuff).

Let me see if I can find those files, if not we can see if someone else has them.
 
Yes, its taking me forever to download it too, only at 16%. Do you want me to delete the image file on the drive now, or do I need that in conjunction with this new file??

You only need one. If the one you have does not work, delete everything from the drive (also check for hidden files).
 
Ok, I deleted it. This may be a stupi question, but when I click on it and delete it, it deletes its totally from the phone, right?? It disappears, I just wanted to double check.

In windows click on Tools > Folder Options > View. Then select the dot next to "Show hidden files, folders, and drives".

That is in the Window for the MOBILE drive. You may need to press ALT to get the Tools to appear at the top left.
 
there is no tools option, usually its in the upper right hand corner on a webpage, but when im in windows explorer, I cant find it
 
I pressed tools and view hidden files and nothing came up.
On 79% right, also, this places closes in 20 minutes, Will you be on tomorrow, nso we can hopefully continue this as I have no idea what Im doing, or else if we wanted to continue tonight, (as they keep their wifi on, I would have to shutdown and power back up in the car to continue tonight.

Not sure, you can PM me though, and I usually answer those pretty quick and can pop on to help if I am free. You should be good with those files, and can use the phone on stock for a day or so until you could get more questions answered.
