Root Help - possible bricked phone

ok, I was glad they exchanged it out. another question, after I root it, can I restore al my apps (which is about 75), that I backed up last night before I had all those problems and I shouldnt have any problems doing that right??Or do I need to flash roms first?

You can restore the apps, but I wouldn't restore the data unless you are on the same ROM that you backed them up on. No point in doing that (or rooting) if you are going to flash a ROM soon

You don't have to root to be able to flash ROMs (on this phone).

Titanium Backup needs root access, but if you plan on changing ROMs you don't need to do it beforehand. Also all the custom ROMs for this phone come with root access.

Questions about restoring my apps.Since its going to be a couple days before I flash back to cm7, Ive currently some apps Ive needed in the meantime. Since some of these apps are the same as I backed before, do I need to remove the app I have on here now to restore the same exact app from tit backup? Thanks

I don't think you need to, but you can just to be safe.
