It shouldn't, but I suppose there is always that risk. If not bootable, it should just give you a message saying the same and just close out.

Probably not, considering the latest version of KingRoot should be 4.9.6. Most likely, if a crack comes through on root, it'll come from this forum or XDA.

Renegade: Root can be achieved on the zv3 version of the phone, but we have not successfully accessed the bootloader yet to be able to achieve permanent root on zv4. It may help us solve this if you could try various methods (KingRoot, Poot, adb, etc.) To try and root your zv5. It is a new update, so we know very little about its root-ability

my wifes stylo 2 was on v4 and I updated her to v5 ill check hers tonight to see if fastboot is back, I did try the latest kingroot on v5 with no success.

U did download mode don't work on my zv4

And anyone with a lg stylo zv4 i happen to have a update.zip from zv3 I Think It Might fix you guys not being able to enter fastboot( it may be a bug in the ota update that made you guys unable to get into fastboot ,well thats what happen to my broken phone,Long-story-short i brought a already messed up Device has been having problems for a very long time but i cant turn it in to the store its to late),I Also have a zv4 dump i can clearly see (Aboot.img) in the files which I Think Is Bootloader From what i No so The thing is there must be a way for zv4 to boot into fastboot/bootloader...####(Update in recovery mode using adb)### Your basically downloading zv4 again!

Well we are getting up in the chain in kingroot were in the 900s now

On metro versions they had 10b and did their first update already to 10i. If no one is on it yet it may be locked.
(Never trust kr scamware)
