@Careingemt, I had described the geofence reconfig when I shared the project but I admit it was not as clear as now.
One more thing.
I found something out when I decided to start from scratch. I.e. I picked up my work phone, installed Tasker and imported the file like you would have, to see if I was missing anything.
I had to set the variable %ShouldIHaveWifi to yes before the profile worked properly.
It's something I didn't put in the boot task because you may reboot your phone away from home so you can't assume that WiFi should be on.
So please check what value this variable has on your phone and set it once.
EDIT: I was wrong, it is perfectly fine to have this line:
Variable > Variable Set > %ShouldIHaveWifi = no
in the boot task. It is then correctly set to yes if you are at home.
I struggle a bit with my work phone as it's an old Samsung galaxy Nexus S and runs on 4.1.2, which does not allow scanning WiFis when WiFi is off. I can work around it by configuring AutoLocation's Location monitor (for now: 60s interval, type balanced, smallest displacement 100m if anyone is interested). Careingemt, you're on KitKat and you have the WiFi scanning always available so this side note is for anyone browsing around and on an older OS).
Careingemt (or someone else), if you want, I can release another version of the project with these changes:
- corrections to the Boot task
- Added Work geofence (which then can be switched on/off depending on the user's needs)
- Ability to switch on/off the logging (I'm probably the only crazy enough to have my own logging system, although useful when you forgot what time you started work when it's time to fill in your time sheet!!)
- Separate instructions regrouping all the knowledge we've gathered over the last few pages
