Well, I decided to see if I can get sprint to boot me. I downloaded the same rom (160 meg) 11 times on 3g while on the vzw only pro XD lets see if that rattles the beehive at all ;)

160 doesn't seem like much try dl'ing a movie at 650 + do a torrent or something. Send them Nakey pictures of yourself :p that should do it

You'll probably get a warning letter next month.
Then you gotta rack up more data downloads that month.

So is this a "use vzw data and get sprint to boot you" thread? If so I am in!!!!..I have had a vzw prl for about a month now trying to get the boot. I am tired of always droppingcalls with spring.t...while vzw has 4g lye in my area....
 
LoL I guess there are two threads to show how serious I am!!! No, I hit submit, then before it completed I hit back to fix a spelling error and it musta gone twice. I want to get booted to see if I can get out of my contract 2.5 mos early, and I'm a dood. A 6'4" ugly ugly dood.
 
That 1.7 gig overall in addition to what I plan on doing over the next few days and what I usually download should raise an eyebrow or 7. I know that 160 meg times 11 isn't huge, but its a start :)
 
i just want a new device LoL!!! I have the replacement coverage on my beloved evo, so im gonna get the boot, port over to a prepaid vzw phone for a month or so, then get a new sprint acct and go back on a vzw prl LOL!!! I might hafta get on a family members acct or something, but im not really concerned about that. I have options i can explore ;) Oh, someone offered that advice of downloading a torrent of a movie in the identical post, but since those are mostly illigal files, im staving away from that. Its solid advice with regards to d/l'ing a ton at one time, but im just paranoid is all :D
 
Your going to have to download 10-15gb of data while roaming monthly to get the boot.


Your going to have a lot of troubles getting back on the network.


If you want a new phone, pony up the $$$ and do the early buyout program
 
Lol...I was just gonna say what Rex said!!! Lol. I doubt ill get the boot...I am by no means a power user....lol...still not even convinced I want to drop sprint...I just want 4g hahahahh

I have a family plan i can jump on as an add-a-line

I got my first gestapo letter after doing 6 gig in one month

I might just hafta wait anyways as itll likely take 2 mos for them to boot me :/
 
I called last month and said I needed a new phone because my evo's screen was broken and I didn't have insurance. For $50 I bought out my contract that was up in November. Not a bad deal. The bought the gnex for $99.

It never ends just sorta on paper really. Keep in mind two things 1 they want your business and 2. Customer is always right.
 
OK, its official!!! I got my boot letter today!! SGSIII here I come!!! Now I just need to decide what carrier I want it on. I'm, thinking t-mobile or att, definitely not vzw... eff those guys!!!
 
tell me about it!! I mean, I know that ive been on the vzw prl for what seems like FOREVAAR, but i 99% of the time am on wifi and hardly ever use the 3g radios other than the (roughly) 1.7 gig i used when i started this thread. I guess i could go bitch to the sprint people, but what would that accomplish? NOTHING cuz the people in the stores have no power, but whatever it takes to get me on the SGSIII im down for :) I guess i could do the boost mobile thing and still use the vzw prl LOL I have till the 14th to do what im gonna do i guess :D

Well good luck to you bro. Hope the new phone works well for you. It's been great being a part of this community with you hope we can continue to run into each other as I've gone LTE. (I do miss my OG EVO) Wife has it and is falling in love with it. Why shouldn't she its an awesome phone and its rooted has dt on it and a very good ROM (Nitrous 1.5.7)
