never had an issue with this kernal, try flashing Ginger Extreme kernel and see if the problems solve, and also if you have set cpu what are your settings?

The link is not working to download the 1.2. Can someone please post a mirror download. Thank you. Great work Kanaida love the 1.0 looking forward to the 1.2

Edit: Nevermind it started working again.

Worked this kernel bad..did everything I could to drain the bat..:D
Wonder how much more the 2% would have given:confused::rolleyes:;)

I swapped back to 1.0 it has much better battery life. I still have 70%+, left after work even at more than moderate usage but only had around 50% left with the latest kernel. When I got to work this am I downloaded 1.0 over 4G flashed it and rebooted the phone 4x messing with other things and still have 82% left even with my normal usage. LOVE the 1.0 kernel!

Yep that's what testing is for. :) I think I accidentally compiled it missing a few tweaks. Gonna try again, I was also trying to add Pg's overclocking into a new kernel too but I got bootloops probably cause I messed something up but ill try again later tonight. I might need to copy over some more code. I want to add overclocking and the sio io scheduler. Also gotta fix the HDMI as someone mentioned, I couldn't test it before cause I didn't have the cable.

The new timer could be draining battery too so ill try the old one back.

This is on the 1.2 kernel again light to light moderate use by my wife, 4g for 8-9 hours and wifi for the rest. wifi on the entire time bluetooth off, gps off sync off, brightness at auto

Yeah for the 1.2 kernel ny phone stayes awake longer. The 1.0 kinda made my phone last a little bit longer than the 1.2

Alright y'all are just showin off now;) VN BTW!

oh one thing to note, in system/app I renamed dunserver.apk to dunserver.apk.bak

disabling it has improved battery I have not used it with bluetooth devices so its affect is unknown at this moment. every time I plan on testing it something else comes up.:(

I believe it wont affect normal bluetooth useage, such as talking on a handsfree device but I believe it will not transfer files to or from another phone or a computer. And It absolutely will not allow bluetooth pairing as a modem to a computer.

That by the way is an interesting way to use it I tried that out first day with my wifes laptop.

extended battery running kanaida kernel 1.0 light use about 50 texts 20 minutes phone call web browsing streaming music about 25 minutes gingeresteem I feel I done all possible to get more out of my extended battery but will be satisfied with this I guess :( wish I had new Optimus numbers lol

I'd try your stock battery.. Sounds like crappy manufacturing like my ext battery. Mine did improve a bit when I let it drain until it powered off, then charged all the way without unplugging it 2 time. Even then my ext battery gives me only like 20-25% more than a stock battery. 3500mAh my a$$..

Yeah I hear you bro I mean I try stock as well and the stock gave me like 8 hours so I was like crap let me go back to extended at least I get double that I have the revolution extended battery bought brand new but who knows might not be as good I will try stock again tomorrow but I know I will only get 8 hours :( thanks for the help Kanaida.

I'm gonna post my 1.3 kernel when I get home. So far 3:45hrs and 90% left on my crappy ext battery so it looks good. 37 hours estimated on light use. I'd take a look at running services and stop ones you don't use. For example phandroid has one to check for messages every 15mins, I changed it to an hour. I stop the service if I'm done using that app. Google maps tends to run wild if you leave it running too. Are you using my optimizer app too? Battery last less without it too.

Oh yeah optimizer is running too Chuck Norris too and in running systems all I have is the ones that the phone needs to use nothing extra i killed google maps killed Raphsody so they don't come up anymore I just try all things even calibrated battery everyday.

One thing about 4G, it only really drains battery fast when it downloads/uploads, not as much if it's not in use. That's why things like checking email more often than every hour can drain the batt. Or say pandora high quality vs normal quality streaming.
