How do I delete my account?

I really didn't know where to post this, since I didn't see a forum to ask questions about the forums themselves.

Anyway, I received a completely unfair yellow card infraction, and want to start fresh because it's completely unwarranted.
 
No idea really... I once was looking in to this and couldnt find anything.

I didnt even know there was such a thing as a yellow card infraction, sorry bro.
 
With over 1000 posts I would not lose any sleep over it ... And just keep moving on

Not really, but a yellow card on the first offense usually warrants a red card (an actual infraction) on the subsequent offense.

You're probably right. I'm still going to try to appeal it, if possible, but won't delete. What kind of irks me is that it never expires, though.

Just an FYI, creating multiple accounts is against forum rules.

If you feel you still would like to delete your account or appeal the warning given - please PM Phases as he is the final word on all of that. Again, actions taken against accounts are usually discussed in depth and a reason is typically given to show why it was warranted.

What we take seriously are the wishes of the site owner... you know, the guy who pays the bills and lets you access the place for free? I can assure you that Rob takes his website very seriously - it is his business, after all.

Yep, most the websites people like you troll are BUSINESS indeed. And if you don't take your business seriously, or at the very least have respect for people who DO take their business' seriously, then.. Well, you end up being the sad type of person who makes it their business to just troll around and start trouble - rather than do something useful with their lives.

Hey! Why is everybody bashing the mods? I'm not bashing them. I'm just disputing an infraction I feel was unwarranted. They do make mistakes like every other human being, ya know.

I'm also not attempting to posses multiple accounts. If the original is deleted completely, and a new one is made, then only one account exists under my control.

Our rules against multiple accounts also exist to prevent members making a fresh start when they have been given warnings/infractions. As you can imagine, allowing that to happen would make moderation impossible.

But I thought a moderator had to delete the account for you anyway.

No, the user is simply banned for not heeding mod (multiple) warnings/infractions of what is not appropriate to post on the forums. By making another account after a ban, you're breaking the rules as it is considered a duplicate account. Also, if you were banned, it was for a very good reason and most likely the MODs feel that the site is better without you as a member.

Like Roze said, mods can only ban not delete accounts. Phases handles account deletions and decides whether they will be given, but they would not be given to allow members a fresh start, as I mentioned.

It would be pointless anyway, as we would still consider the first account's history of anybody who made a second account.

If disputing an infraction is all you want to do, the only action left here is to PM Phases and discuss it with him. We (mods) cannot do anything from here on out.
 
Phases, I would appreciate if you would delete my account as well. I will not make a second.

sorry bro. i no longer contribute and only stop by to solve my own issues.
i dont and havent felt like contributing for a while now, saw this thread and think
it is a good idea.
