just wondering if you guys want us to root the phone... why not put all the beginner stuff in a .rar or archive it so they have to make a smaller download? because i have a limited 5gb a month home broadband plan.....
haven't received it yet either, bought on cyber monday

I used the "P" file to manually update after gettting tired of waiting for the OTA update (3 weeks). You have ot be S-OFF though. Went well and Im back on a custom ROM.

Where can i download the "p" radio file?
OverByter, are you 100% sure your friend got the radio update and not the personalize update? As you can see there are a lot of people that purchased their phone after Thanksgiving and have not received the update yet. I still think their might be a problem.

And there are plenty of people who purchased before and still haven't received the update, unfortunately the only people who post are the ones that haven't gotten it yet. And yes my buddies phone has the radio update that was pushed about a week ago, so as far as I can see it's still being sent out.

I was going to root but I gave up because I felt like the directions weren't clear enough, and I was probably going to screw something up. I guess I'll have to wait for the OTA update, which I hope will come soon.

Im not confirming anything.
I used it as others instructed me too and the install installed. My phones been fine since but I never had an issue in the first place. I mainly wanted the OTA update so that my radio was as good as it could be. I got tired of waiting and flashed this file that is supposedly the same thing as the OTA update but the radio only.I used it at my own risk, I suggest you use it at your own risk too
