Help How do I get the new update

Please tell me you're kidding, after I just blew an entire evening rooting and so forth.

Tis no joke. I also texted a friend and told him to manually check for the HTC update, and again, It was available for him as well.

Thank goodness the update is back.Did the manual check while at work today,And sure enough the update was available downloaded and installed.Then rushed home to check the wife's phone and she also had it.Did a few texts back to back with my fingers crossed and no error messages.I'm in love with this phone now.

same here, got the message with the 14mb system update today, downloading currently

looks like us black friday/cyber monday people are finally getting it

Bought my phone on Black Friday and activated the next week. Update notification just played today. I will update later today on a local network and see how it goes.

I checked the update today and it was available as well. I bought my phone on the Cyber Monday weekend. I'm very happy I waited for the OTA update instead of forcing it. As far as what effect this has on the phone, I don't yet know. I haven't been out and about since I installed the update. I'm curious to see if I get 3G instead of 1X (which is all I was getting outside of 4G), and if the 4G is any better. The 4G should saturate the entirety of St. Pete, but it was very sporadic before. I still only get 1X and 1-2 bars of service where I live, even though the map claims I should get 3G.

Not happy so far. Phone calls go out better, but they're breaking up quite a bit now. Still no 3G anywhere, just 1X. I'll be in St. Pete tomorrow, so I'll try out the 4G again. But I think it was working better for me before the update.

My rooted phone won't install this update.. it keeps going into Recovery Mode and won't install it at all.

Is it possible to install it on a rooted phone? If not, then can I turn off checking updates so my phone will finally shut up about this stupid update?

Never take OTAs on a rooted device.

Just flash the updated ROM
