Help How to get back touchwiz?

First, you need to back away from the ledge a little. KitKat official hasn't been released yet, so there's no panic. Second, even if it is released, you can still go back to 4.3, then update it.

Flashing a ROM via the pc version of Odin is as simple as it gets. I have done it hundreds of times. I have never bothered with the mobile version, because the PC version is simple.

You need to get the correct ROM for your phone. I don't know if ATT will work with Bell or not. The only risk, I would think, is that the radio may not be exactly correct.

Once you have 4.3, you can not go lower than that. At this point, you must find the correct 4.3 ROM to flash. Anything less than 4.3 will brick your phone.

Relax, breathe, and get the correct ROM. After that, it's very straightforward.

Again - you have some time. Patience is your friend.

Oh I am not in a rush at all, after I find the correct ROM and download everything I'll keep you guys informed if I get stuck or not.
I was under the impression that the Bell model was an M version. Did you pull the battery and look at the sticker in the battery compartment?

The custom ROM that you did might have left the M off in the settings tab. I have been through that with international versions of the i8190. Flashing different ROMs will leave the letter identifier off if it's not that particular model's ROM.

I had a i8190L that I flashed an i8190 ROM for, thinking it would be the same. About 100 ROM flashes later, I finally got back to the stock ROM for that phone, where the "L" designation would show up.

The sticker will say, though.

If memory serves, the M ROM is not the same as the non-M ROM.

Okay I'll check that

Check that sticker. After digging around XDA, it looks to me like the Bell model is M. Please confirm that. If so, ATT uses a different frequency than Bell, so it does not look like you will be able to make calls with an ATT ROM.

If so, see if this helps:

I747MVLUEMK5 Android 4.3 JB Firmware For Galaxy S3 SGH-I747M (Canada) - How To Guide | True Android | #1 Custom Android Resource

Others can chime in, but these instructions seem pretty good (note: I am not responsible for you bricking your phone, yada yada).

It said a couple different things actually... I'll take. a photo of the sticker later with my 3ds since it's the only other camera I own... (I'm sorry if I looks bad it has a 0.3 mp camera Lol, but great games make up for it)

I found this info in my settings^
Right click on the image and press open image in new tab to make it bigger, it seems that the phone model is SGH-I747 as it says on the box of the phone, I'll post an image of the sticker on the box in an hour or so.

I found this on Bell's site:

http://support.bell.ca/Mobility/Sma...ow_to_find_the_software_version_of_my_samsung

Would it help that I said we got my phone from wireless wave and not from bell themselves even though my carrier is Bell?

your pic states your android version is 4.4.2 which is kitkat meaning that the cm rom you have is kitkat based not 4.3 based

which after rereading your op you already know that, however based n the model number that is the same as the att s3 i had, but gordon could be right with the flashing of the rom that could of adjusted what it says

First of all, I never said my cm was 4.3, I said multiple times that I have cm 11.

Second of all, yeah I'm still confused by it...

one thing i can say is your not gonna get anywhere without trying to get your hands dirty and flash roms or firmware....read read then flash your not gonna learn any other way just remember make a BACKUP via recovery before flashing anything...

Oh, well idk wtf I should do or where to start

Don't worry the only thing confusing is our lack of consensus..

Bell uses more or less the same bands as att which lover knows already, my other phone xperia tl is att variant but flashing bell or a random European firmware didn't stop my LTE from working , same with my atrix not only that I still get ota update when the unbranded firmwares get theirs.

So android lovers phone will still work.

Next he is using cm 11 he wants true stock touchwiz doesn't care which version of android it comes as long as it works.

Now he can use any LTE s3 firmware without issue much like how every one note 2 can ROM swap as long as the chipset the same.

The op knows what to do... Find firmware that is official, download the firmware.tar save it somewhere he can find it.

Op then need to use Odin after installing it and prepare it for flashing.. With the firmware

Then op must put the Samsung in download mode. Plug into computer then start Odin.

not sure if this affects you with the model of s3 you have but just announced that the s3 3g model will NOT get kitkat 3G Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S3 Mini won't be receiving KitKat

His should have 2gb of ram lagwiz kitkat needs all that ram

Oh, well idk wtf I should do or where to start

Honestly I Google my questions when I reach that point...like how to get into recovery with x phone or how flash y into z.

I read "3G" And closed the tab ASAP, I know for a fact mine is the LTE version, in fact, I'm using LTE right now to type this message :P

Okay, but how do I do a back up in case something wrong happens?

Well you make a nandroid backup 1st

I think in your power off options there should be a reboot to recovery,

If you get into recovery you should see backup/restore select that options (I have no idea if you have a touch recovery or non touch) you use volume rockers to navigate and power (or home) button to select make a back up and then find something to do for like 10 mins should take that long. Then reboot the phone..

Okay so the photo with the sticker is not happening since the resolution on the 3DS is SO bad it hardly detected the letters... instead, I'll type what it says.

MODEL:SGH-I747M
FCC ID: should I give this? Idk...
IC: or this?
FOR INFORMATION CALL: 1-800 SAMSUNG
MADE IN CHINA <- isn't everything? Lol

What did we need that for again? whatever..

You might be able to find your firmware in this thread with some instruction that seem...important

Good luck to you

Okay I'll make sure to do that once I have everything ready to go, thanks!

i wanted you to gointo download mode to check your flash counter.
flash counter is sammys way of checking to see if you flashed phone..
why this is important is because that will void warranty and with the 4.3 update they installed knox bootloader which has yet to be cracked by developers...if its been tripped in my opinion mine as well keep root but like i said my opinion...any way you should check just to see incase you ever have to send to sammy

btw nfl draft is what im watching while ive been posting here nothing to do with android or this thread just making excuse for my mistake lol

I am in download mode... it says....

Warning!!
A custom OS can cause critical problems in phone and installed applications.

If you want to download a custom OS. press the volume up key.
Otherwise, press the volume down key to cancel.

Volume up: continue
Volume down: Cancel (restart phone)
