Root how to unroot HTC Evo

Its in the rooting for dummies guide basicly u flash a stock rom it will have a link and the flash the s-on tool it will also have a link

Lol this guy was quite obviously frustrated in another thread and likely wont be back lol. I do like my praise though lol
 
holy crap!!! that guy went thru hell n back trying to get up n runnin.... but it seemed like you guys and he were on totally different pages, heck - id even say in different books! I wonder where he got that list of roms from.... baked snack(i think he listed that one)? i havent heard that one mentioned in FOREVER!!

Yeah he wasnt following me, guess i should be a better teacher but it i was off that day and heading to the beach at the time....And yeah he was using some ancient roms that havent had any development in quite some time, they are available in rom manager downloads i believe...

Using rom manager. Probably most influential factor in this case. :(
 
that darn rom manager comes up ALL THE TIME!!!! we should petition to have it either removed from the market or at least have its "abilities" to flash roms disabled by the dev. no offense to the dev, and im not sure if its just a proclivity of the almighty EVO to not play well with it, but it causes more problems than it fixes, or so it seems by the snapshot of peeps popping in here with issues, maybe we only see a small portion of rom manager users.... who knows?
