How's the battery life?

If you're using the browser, click the reply button first, then when the reply window comes up, there's a paperclip for attachments. When you click on that, you should be able to attach whatever photo you wanted to add and it'll be hosted through the forums' server.

Tried that option and it wont open up my gallery to pick a pic.

Make sure you request the desktop version of the site, not the mobile version.

Once you do that, it should work very similar to how it would work on a PC. The difference being, the pop-up window will allow you to decide which app you're going to use to find the file.

Okay, so I checked my GSam battery usage and over night and through to right now, I'm at 20 hours from when I swapped out the battery yesterday, with 83.6% of the battery consumption coming from apps. The biggest percentages from apps are from "Kernal" and "Google Services" were the percentages that were the highest. That's so ambiguous, so I'm trying to get to the bottom of what that covers exactly. Wish there was a way to truly break those down. Everything that's listed in the details is kinda mumbo-jumbo to me.

I'm at 23% right now with approx. 5+hours left and 2+ hours of talk time. The most I've done was update some apps, post a couple things on social networking, and have my standard emails pushing, which is pretty "normal" use for me, but I'd still love to get the standby time while I sleep to hold battery life better. I'm going to set my emails to only be manual sync, during hours that I'm normally asleep, but I don't know if that'll make a difference. That is indicated as a separate % from Google Services and Kernel.

My phone has been draining the battery faster but that's because I've started leaving the brightness more at 40%. As long as there are no apps draining your battery and your usage habits haven't changed battery usage should remain consistent. I love this phone and the battery life!

This is my usage for the day. Could be better but I need my screen lit up just can't stand a dim screen

I've had the phone for one week as of today. I took the phone off the charger at 7:30 this morning and it's ay 65% now at 6:30ish.

I've surfed quite a bit, streamed videos, emailed a lot and just generally played with the phone (still getting acquainted with the finer points).

I have zero complaints about the battery life. Zero.

I kill this phone with constant use after around 8-9 hours average.

Mine is not LTE though.

This is by far the best. Though I had it in airplane mode for about 8 hours of this. I wanted to see how the battery drain was with just standby.

Only about 1% every 5 hours in airplane mode.

Airplane mode drain is absolutely amazing. Since I've been using my International Note 2 as a dedicated media device, I primarily use it to listen to music while in the car. In airplane mode, this thing almost lasts me a full week before I have to swap the battery out. That's only about 10 hours of audio each week, but I never turn the phone off the entire on (keep on standby). Just to be safe, I also keep blocking mode and power save mode on. Nontheless, I've had other devices that were lucky to last that long on standby, so I've been very happy with that.

I'm confused by this Option. Does this mean that it will automatically switch to 3g?

I have to charge the phone on a daily base, because I'm a heavy data user. really hope they can have something can last longer come out soon

That basically means that when the phone goes to sleep its using your data network instead of wifi. Keep it as you have it, saves data AND battery life. Wifi is more battery efficient.

i read somewhere that the dolphin browser is nice but it used up battery faster for some reason that i forgot.

i've used dolphin for 3 years now and if true, would explain some of the rapid drain on my old Evo 4G phone.

can anyone confirm this or is this one of many bogus statements that circulates on the internet?

thanks.

Every time I've used Dolphin my battery has died much more rapidly. I haven't used it on my Note II but I had used it on my SII, Triumph, Optimus V, Ascend, and Evo V. All showed terrible battery drain with that browser.

I don't know why either but it's likely the way in the way it functions.

Could you post pictures? If the stock battery isn't doing it for you then I would suggest an extended battery.

I love this phones battery life.

Yesterday I got 16hrs 13m 26s with 6h 21m 48s screen on time and still had about 14% left.

Here's a screenshot I just took. And when the battery gets too low, I just swap a fully charged one. I'm still happy with the phone's battery life.:)

I really pushed mine today, went out on my bike and had all the radio's on and active, bluetooth on and cranking the toons, gps with map and screen always on, wifi discovery, everything on; and I didn't bother to hook it into external power; after all day like this. Its still got 35% charge left.

This level of use would routinely kill my Droid X in a couple hours at best. (thus the reason for having a microusb power source on my bicycle!) Not sure I'll ever bother to plug this beast in when riding my bike now.

I am positively amazed.

Basically this phone is awesome!

6 hours of screen on-time being reported by many people, even a VZW heavy user like myself.

The screen is a selling point, not a drain point at all!

Heres mine for the day. Not too shabby and no complaints
