That one has a Nexus One badge on it according to the picture:confused: I wouldn't want a badge like that on my new Desire:eek: It might get confused:p

Oops double post!

Description of FlexiShield Skin For The HTC Desire - Black:

Crystal case like protection with the durability of a silicone specfically made the Desire. The case even caters for the famous HTC Desire chin, which means it offers fantastic protection.

Has anyone ordered one of these yet ?

I've got a mofi pouch which is ok but I want something to protect my desire when it slips out of my hand.

Can you report back once you've got it.

I'm interested to know whether the case offers any protection if the phone is dropped and lands screen side down.

Not much/at all.

Been waiting for this, the flexishield on the hero was awesome.

I thought the flexishield made the device look a bit cheap on the HTC Hero, this doesn't look too bad though. Still going to wait til hard cases come out!

My review of this case I've got. Originally posted on the other Desire cases thread.

Black Mobile Phone Flip Case For The Htc Google Nexus: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Just received this case. It's for the Nexus One, but fits my Desire perfectly. It's not loose at all. All the buttons are exposed, not obscured by the plastic inner case that holds the phone.
It's a faux leather type material, quite nice and the stitching is good quality.
It's padded on the outside flip part, and a rougher faux leather on the inside. But not enough to scratch the screen.
However it uses a magnet to secure the strap, which messes with the phone. The compass on the Tricorder app wouldn't work, and the GPS on google maps was a little thrown off. I'll probably have to cut the magnet out.

Overall, 4/5 stars. It's a decent case and has good build quality, despite being under

The reason iv brought this, is because its so good on my hero, iv dropped my hero twice, and its been fine, there is a bit of a protective lip if it does land face down, so it may save the screen if its not dropped too high, if you have a desire make sure you get this case, i think there is 7 left now.

I also ordered one of the flexishields yesterday, for now though I am using a Krusell leather pocket case which isn't too bad but slightly loose fitting, it is only temporary though and better than nothing :)

looking for a hard plastic case for the Desire, like a 2 part one you slide together. Anyone found anything or if any other models that fit good? Dont like the silicone or leather cases.

I'm hoping my desire will fit into the mofi pouch with the case on, there's plenty of space so I think i'll give it a go.

I'm pretty sure you won't need to worry about pouches fitting. It's the shells and plastic clip things that are designed to fit specifically for a certain phone. I guess shops brand the pouches as for specific phones so customers aren't confused.

I am using this one at the moment.

Pros:
-Snug fit
-Well built
-Can (with balancing) double as a stand
-Leather

Cons
-Bit pricey (use the code YOUTUBE to get 10% off)
-Bulky (not really a con for me but I know others prefer the slim fits)
-Blocks camera
-No belt clip

All in all im happy with it even though it is built for the N1.

I also got their Topcoat screen cover for the N1 - it required trimming which is a pain but the protector is excellent, does not interfear with the operation of the pad and is very smooth (have heard others can have a odd texture to them).
That's useful thanks.

I'm considering this one which looks a similar design but it doesn't say if it has a magnetic clasp. Does yours have one? Also is it easy to get the phone in and out of the case?

It's still a fortnight until the release date, sadly, but would be good to know if it's something to go for!

I imagine these would stop scratches but if you dropped your phone there is not much to soak up the impact, for that you need something a lot thicker.
