Hi everyone. I just registered on this forum to provide some confidence to all of the folks sitting on the v3 fence. I flashed my Eris a few days ago. It is working perfectly. The whole process went smoothly and I am now jammin with the 2.1. I have no regrets, there is nothing I have found that makes me regret the decision. I do have the 50% bug, but it has zero effect on my battery.
I have a good friend that works for HTC. He told me v3 made it through Verizon QA this week. HTC was asked to make some minor tweaks to the radio before locking down the final. It will not be pushed to your phone. You will have to DL the ROM and follow the flash process. The way I figure, flashing v3 is great practice!![]()

my father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate works for VZW, HTC, and Google and he says we're all boned as far as updates go. he expects the update to come a week after all 2.1 conversations end because everyone's given up....
And I see your schwartz is as big as mine.
Has anyone had any issues with the actual phone app? Sometimes, people call me and I can't hear them but they can hear me. I have to reboot the phone. I fear it is a hardware issue... I just want to see if anyone else is having this issue. It never happened on 1.5

known and constant issue on 2.1 leaks. sometimes youll get it six times a day, sometimes not once in a week. very odd but we all get it i think
Nope, not all. I've been running each leak as it has been released and have never experienced this issue.
really? lucky bugger

When vampires become mods, we are just a few steps away from a zombie apocolypse! Congrats OTD!

I do have the 50% bug, but it has zero effect on my battery.
The baseband and build numbers will be the same when the official release comes, according to Verizon.
Software Update: DROID Eris by HTC<br>Coming Soon!
Interesting to note that the PDF shows the update as being 77.7mb...VERY strange considering the leaks were all over 100mb!!
Not strange if you know that linux software betas are generally larger than the final cleaned up releases.

Ok Frisco, you're giving me a complex!![]()
