edit: Ok, found link to site. hasn't been updated in a few months according to change log. looks like it has some cool features. I wonder if this is a way to do aosp that would avoid the cm7 boot loop or if this one would have it to?

nope never tried it unfortunately. but support for it has slowed down. i heard somewhere that the devs may look into ICS, but it is only a rumor that someone posted somewhere. i will try and see if i can provide a link to that discussion. but try them out and see how you like it.

Found some stuff that MIUI build 1.12.30 has exactly the issue I brought up, and haven't found a site with a solution. Most folks seems to revert to build 1.12.9 which they claim stable.

So I tried, and phone is working fine. Now to find a kernel that works well with it. Time to upload some apps...

as far as kernels goes try tiamat sbc kernels out.
