Root I have found no need

Seriously found no need to OC after loading Gummy 2.5. runs smooth, blazing fast, and I like the battery improvement. I also have a lot of apps running, below is a screen shot. I guess this thread is to say thanks to the xda developer, you have made me happy. :)

I ran it over a week,I love it.Only thing Im not a fan of as delivered(and I can probably change it,but not sure how),is the gallery...I like the simple D1 gallery.....Its is a sweet ROM.Only faster one on my phone is UD,but its not useable yet,IMO.

no doubt about it GJ is a recommended Rom. Easy for newbies and fast. Personally, I like a wee bit more blur, but I'll flash and enjoy GJ, myself.

Welcome back Steven.... (Now how are we going to get that smile off your face?) :D

I have an issue with GummyJar.... Try adding an exchange email acct. After adding my work email, I'm required to enter a 9 character strong password to wake up my phone. A strong password contains 3 of the following: upper case letters, lower case, numbers or special characters (@#!$%&, etc). No other rom requires this. It's a bug, not a requirement of my work. This is a big-time show stopper for me.

You could always keep the stock clocks and lower the voltage, however. :]

Even though I'm running Fission instead of GJ, I've also found no need to do any overclocking since going "blurless." And it may or may not be placebo, but I've been using my phone HEAVY today since flashing, and my battery life seems loads better. (and it wasn't even that bad before).

the update gummyjar2.5 has the 2 different gallery's, if you go into your app drawer you will see two gallery's. I love the 3D one it 's background changes colors and the albums tilt. you cant hate both, lol.

try doing the build.prop I love the how the screen density was changed.
Build.prop edits = great battery life + fast phone + full market

What build.prop?

I've run screen density changers before (both 'Density Changer' and 'Font Changer' which has a built in density changer as well), and they make my phone very unstable. It drove me nuts when it first started because I had no idea which app was causing all my problems. Turned out to be the density changers.

Which sucks because I loved the way my screens looked at 180. Even 200 was an improvement, but 180 really did it for me. Is this build.prop something different?

read my fellow DX'r :) link below. the build.prop is already set at 200 in this file provided. use method 2 for installation, it was easy. also it runs great. it is a edited build.prop you put on ur SD and open root explorer and over wright the orig build.prop.

agreed. does anyone know if you can just drop the blur camera in the system folder of gummyjar and change permissions?

yeah, but that doesn't install it to the system folder. I have the apk thanks guys. Just wondering if using root explorer to move it there would cause any FC issues.

Sry I mislead. I believe I saw the cam come as a Apk. also, If I can remember correctly. Either way you got it done.

I use JRummy16's overclocker and it has the overclocker feature, and profiles, and it has extra's that can change all those build properties to those amounts that DX'r listed, if u dont have root explorer or ADB, it was only 1.50 US, it also has an ad blocker n other features and will be adding more. I really like it, so just sayin for anyone who uses the OC'r.
