FYI....
I'm not going to get a chance to do much more development until Monday, I have relatives in town.
I didn't get a chance to check in all the sources yet, too busy playing with aokp (see the other thread). I'll try to get that knocked out Monday.
Note I'm having some difficulty organizing sources between thunderc and sniper due to language configurations. The thunderc simply cannot accept anything more than EN and ES or it gets too large for the device. So I'll need to work out some way to conditionally add the LatinIME overlays. I'm thinking I'll need to split the vendor overlays into minimal and full, and put the FR/IT/DE overlays in the latter. That deviates from the vendor tree more than I'm really comfortable with, but I don't see much choice.
Just curious on why the hell somebody would want webOS on an android after using CM9? Miss your palm pre? lol. Both webOS and Android are based on the linux kernel. Cupcake and Eclair are leaps and bounds above webOS. Not trying to rag on your own personal taste but damn. It's like saying "I'm tired of driving my new BMW M5 around, I miss my 15 year old Ford Taurus"I bet you could be the one person to get webos operational in this phone. I wonder if its even possible to merge webos and android. That would make a monster os.
You continue to do great things for this phone, and I'm truly greatful that we are lucky enough to have you with us.
**I GOT MMS WORKING!**
Go to Voice Search and speak "open apn"
Open the apn settings and it will most likely be blank.
Menu>NEW
*NOTE* THERE MUST BE 2 APNS FOR MMS TO WORK!
For the first, fill in only the following fields:
Name: home
APN: Boost_Mobile
leave everything else blank except APN Type near the bottom. Enter default, supl
Now hit menu save.
Once again, make a new apn by hitting menu>new
Name: Boost
APN: Boost_Mobile
Username: Boost_Mobile
Password: *
MMSC: http://mm.myboostmobile.com
MMS Proxy: 68.28.31.7
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 311
MNC: 870
APN Type: mms
Not now hit menu save.
*NOTE* ONLY ONE APN WILL BE SELECTABLE.
This should be the APN named "home"
Click the little circle on the right to select (may be hard to see)
Now hit home. Then reboot. This worked for me tested and true.
Let me know if you have any issues, i can try to post some screenshots later.

EDIT: If you do this and still have issues, I should mention I replaced apns-conf.xml with the one from Blood's CTMOD. So if the APN alone doesnt work, replace your .xml file in /etc

did you test receiving and downloading mms's or just sending them?
I'm going to try this tonight when I get sometime.
Edit: You can use AnyCut.apk or a similar app to access APN's. I found this method easier. I tried this and I'm still getting force closes when trying to send pics.
I sent it to myself. It was sent, received, and downloaded.
I tried sending one to my prevail and as soon as I tried to send it mms force closed, but I can still receive them fine.
Ok, give me a bit I will post screenshots of my APN settings so you can confirm yours match.
You changed the .xml in /etc as well? Everything is typed exactly as it is listed above? (capitalization is important)
After flashing, apn screen was blank.Ok. Thanks bro. Did you switch out anything before you made the new apn's or just flash the room and make new apn's?
After flashing, apn screen was blank.
I changed the apns-conf.xml in both /etc and /system/etc to the one from CTMOD. This may be redundant, but i wanted to make sure there was no conflict with 2 .xmls pointing to the same thing looking in 2 different places (I think there should be a post from blood in one of the last few pages with a copy of the code)
After that I manually added the apns starting with home. Filled in as above and selected the radio button. Home and rebooted.
Added MMS apn (second one listed) as above, hit home then reboot.
Profit
What radio button ate you referring to?
If you look at my screenshot of the APN home screen, there are 2 listed. One has a little blue circle next to it. The mms shouldnt be selectable, but the home APN should allow you click inside that little circle (it starts out just a circle outline, hard to see) and it will fill it in when selected.
For some reason the pics aren't loading on my phone. But I did select that button next to home before rebooting and still got force closes. I did however notice that when I create a new apn that some of the stuff is already filled in. Should I clear those out, then try your method? Was anything filled in on your apn before adding all of the boost info?
When I go to add a new APN most fields say not set. The only fields I edited are the ones I listed.
The MCC and MNC were already set at 311 and 870, respectively.
Also filled in are APN protocol & APN Roaming Protocol.
Other than that, I added in what you see above. Again, it has to be entered verbatim as it is case and character sensitive.
If i knew how to make a flashable zip of the apn changes I would just post that.
I just wanted to make sure. I double checked and everything is spelled correctly. I'll keep playing with it. It is obviously an error on my part.
