Hey k28 I know you didn't mean it that way, and blood and tdm are incredible, but just wanted to say that |Monster| is honorable mention behind no one. He's been on this forum since day 1 and has answered more noob questions than the rest of us put together. He made the first custom rom for our phone, and he donated the phone to Bloodawn that gave us hyper-kernal and CTMod. He is still here every day helping noobs and devs. There is nobody here that comes close to giving to this community what |Monster| has, so no disrespect to you or anyone else but honorable mention doesn't even start to describe what he does. Please don't take this the wrong way, but your comments just made me think that some around here might not fully appreciate all that |Monster| has done for us.

Here here.

the one from /etc. Replace it, fix permissions and reboot
I gave it a try but no go =/although I may have moved the wrong file, the only thing I found in /etc was apns-conf.xml When i replaced the files, fixed permissions then rebooted, nothing was fixed, but nothing was broken either so no harm no foul lol.:D

Blood, you are the shiznit! :D

I recently got the boost HTC Evo Design and am playing with it.. but I gave my LG Marquee sitting on CTMod to my uncle... his first Android and he is really loving it! :) I couldn't think of a better ROM besides CM to introduce this phone to my uncle on... Again thanks for all your hard work, time, and contributions to the Android community! ;)

I have nothing against monster. His work is very appreciated. As I recall he is the one who started this thread we are in. But the reason I have him as the first honarable is because my comments were made about having ICS and an ICS kernel it isn't about his work, they are the ones who made it possible to have ICS on our phones so pease do not go around saying that I dont appreciate monsters work that is just wrong.

Odd. After swapping it out I was finally able to download pics my girl sent me 2 days ago.

May be nothing, but looking at the apns-conf.xml i noticed that under <apn carrier= Boost MMS> the mmsc for boost is not the default "http://mm.myboostmobile.com" but rather "http://mmsc.optus.com.au:8002/"

Also, the second string for <carrier = Boost Mobile> there is no server, proxy, port, or mmsc listed. Is this data incomplete?

Only curious because the other carrier strings in the .xml file all list the standard mmsc addresses i.e. sprint is still http://mms.sprintpcs.com.

Any thoughts? Could this be why MMS is working for Sprint and not Boost?

Nice find, have you tried to send/receive mms with said changes implemented?

Not yet as I am at work. I will see if i can get something working when I get home. I will pull the .xml file from CTMOD and compare values, see what might be conflicting MMS for ICS

Hey, stumbled upon this yesterday

JellyBean google Apps for ICS {CM9/AOKP} - xda-developers

It's Jellybean gapps ported for CM9....I honestly didn't have much luck with it however I imagine it has potential to work in the right hands.

I flashed it and had multiple force closes upon start up. I eventually had to do a full wipe and reflash the necessary zips to get back normal CM9 w/Hyperkernel. So I didn't tinker with it too much. I cleared cache/dalvik before flashing but did not do a full wipe beforehand. That could be the issue...not sure.

Maybe someone else may have some luck with this. I do know the main issue with getting the port to work is replacing the JB startup wizard with the one from ICS.

Please if you do test this please make a nandroid backup first or you will have to start from square 1. After making a backup may want to do a full wipe as well as the standard cache/dalvik clearing.

After flashing I did not fix permissions as I normally would do because the log stated it did so automatically after the flash. Could be an issue, again not sure as my knowledge is a bit limited.

Just played around with the language options. Spanish and French keyboards do not work, they crash on any spelling suggestions. Cyanogenmod has support for more than just English and Spanish, would it be possible to include French in this port. Amazing Job on porting this Rom to the Marquee.

Yes I'll add some more languages. I only have English and Spanish because the configuration was cribbed from my thunderc build. That device is really tight on space and I removed everything that was not absolutely necessary.
