Root ICS/CM9-JB/CM10 Development Thread

On charge they do not come back on only come on when charger unplugged. I have no idea if this is useful for you. Sorry fo the late response been dealing with tropical storm isaac.
 
Was there a "roaming indicator off" fix for AOKP? I flashed the one posted earlier but ended up in a bootloop

Download the fix. Follow the instruction on this download page to install, BUT first do the following....

Open zip file and rename system\lib\hw\camera.p970.so to camera.sniper.so. Then edit the META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script file. Change the 3rd line to the following:

mount("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p5", "/system");

Now your zip file should be ready to install. IF THIS DOESN'T MAKE SENSE, THEN YOU SHOULD WAIT.:D
 
Hello all, i just recently rooted my fiances lg marquee and would really like to give her the ICS experience.
Can anyone tell me if this ROM is stable and functioning well with the device?

Got my new marquee today. It's so beautiful, truly mint, and came with zv9 so I don't have to fight with lgnpst. I really appreciate this after my last experience. What a deal! :)

It is stable and functions quite well. There is only a few things like the cameras, gps dont work

These developers are working real hard. If you follow the thread they are up till odd hours of the night sometimes. I give them all credit without them we wouldnt even have a functioning ics or miui ctmod or even aokp. If you want ics so bad get a phone with it. The hydro and design both have it out of the box.

Test the rom its awesome. Also try ct mod based on GB.offers overclocking and super fast.
 
Thought I'd post an update...

Almost got both the marquee and spectrum up. Both have voice/text working but neither have 3G. asadullah helped me through a rough patch with the marquee, but something is still missing. I will continue trying to get it working on both devices, but the marquee first since at least I know it's possible. Maybe when I find the issue, the same fix will apply to the spectrum... that would be nice. :)

Finally got 3G working on the new marquee!!! :D:D:D

The problem, of course, was a stupid little thing. I had all three mip profiles correct but none of them were enabled. D'oh!!! I feel soooo stupid lol.
 
first, may i also add my own sincere THANKS! for your (and all the contributors') efforts here. Your dedication and skill have my admiration and respect!

I've worked on many software projects, from huge to tiny - and I can't count how many of the hardest, most difficult, most time-consuming bugs/fixes end up with a solution of one line (or sometimes - one character!).

I guess I'm saying (again): thanks for all your work, and I know that feeling when you realize "my fix wasnt working cuz i didnt turn it on!" ... (and don't you hate it when you revise the "nonworking fix" before that realization?!)
