Root ICS/CM9-JB/CM10 Development Thread

Yeah, you're spot on there, lol. I've had my share of stupid little one-line and one-char errors, lol. Very frustrating. Especially, like you said, when you go making unrelated changes trying to fix the issue.

Anyway, to follow up ...

The issue was basically caused by using an old version of dfs. Version 3.x doesn't clearly show the mip profile enabled state. As soon as I downloaded and ran version 4.x, the problem became obvious.

And now I've got a wifi-only marquee that can be my dev phone. That's pretty nice.

Still working on getting 3g for the spectrum. The mip profiles don't seem to be the issue there... :/

I locked the jb/cm10 due to reasons that should be obvious, therefore I switched the title so this thread can double as both. thanks for your understanding

The download link is broken, i got this message : The file you requested was not found
Lets see if we can find that for you...
Search results for devs/tdm/roms/quattrimus/

nice.

gonna see if i can get the kernel source working since its 3.0.8

That would be awesome, I hope it will fix tethering. I've suddenly become a bit interested in that due to a changed schedule.

On the other hand, a gsm release will leave us with our old ril and gps libs. Oh well...

No i think cm is doing a 9.1. But aokp ics seems to be dead, and I really like aokp. I'm not going to pursue a build for just cm and discard aokp.
yea 9.1 was just to add SimplyTapp, a NFC payment type thing.

Thing is Neither CM nor AOKP is any easier to get working than the other. And AOKP actually merges most of CM into their sources, prolly a more of why reinvent the wheel thing, but takes from their we're gonna do our own thing from AOSP claims lol. Tho still a nice ROM, I'm just more a CM fan. ;)
