Root ICS/CM9-JB/CM10 Development Thread

I hear that the official LG Optimus black ics rom is already out. Would it be easier to port this to the LG marquee? As I believe the camera and the other annoyances are already fixed. Again thanks so much for the work you Guys are putting into this

We need an ics kernel and I've spent weeks trying to make that work, to no avail. :(

yo tdm,

I don't know if you noticed or not but with your cm10 the captive buttions are always flashing when the screen is on.

so I edited init.lgesniperboard.rc and changed

Code:
write /sys/devices/platform/omap/omap_i2c.2/i2c-2/2-001a/blink_enable 0

to

Code:
write /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.2/i2c-2/2-001a/blink_enable 0

to fix it.

anyone remind me how to flash baseband for boost cm10 my baseband says unknown. Blood's test 3.

EDIT: Dont have any network access

No fixes yet. TDM said he would be back to work soon on cm10.

I am/have been running it as my daily driver and really the only audio issue I've had is the speakerphone will cut out after about 12 seconds. Other than that everything seems to work as it should minus the camera. Aokp is amazing for an alpha release. Give it a little time and I think we will see a really stable build

How did you get service newer to this phone came from transform ultra where you could just flash baaeband

I'm gonna hold off posting the miui test rom for a while. when it first boots up cdma works but after a reboot it changes to gsm for some reason.

I've noticed that. It goes back an forth. Once in a while I will get "sim inserted network located" with a reboot prompt

On CM10 I've noticed when the cellphone is charging it turn very unstable, it makes a reboot for anything, when unlock it, when turn wifi on, opening certain apps.
Just to now if it's only me.

What rom is that happening on?

I'm on the cm10 aokp. It happens once in a while. I hit the back button to close the reboot prompt. When this happens 3g is still active and I have no interruptions with anything else. Was that the prompt you got?

On a side note, I've still not yet had a random reboot. I've used this daily for a while and really don't run into issues

cm10 aokp? those are different ROMS

They pull from both. It seems they use cm repos when cm has stuff that is useful, so perhaps you could say they use aosp as a base/default.

it uses cm10 as a base. then aokp adds there flavor to the mix and some aosp as well :)

Well I was noticing that they use aosp wpa_supplicant and some other things, which should not be the case if they truly started with cm10 as a base.
