Root ICS/CM9-JB/CM10 Development Thread

Yes. The installer finds out and installs the version you need for you.

Like Phranc1t said though, if you are running the Sprint version of Boost you'll need to make the needed changes so the basebands will match up.

You can either make the change manually or you can just flash the Boost zv4 ROM in the link below. Once you've done that the installer will install the correct version for you

@ Phranc1t, good call bro. I'm glad you mentioned that because I forgot all about it. I started out with the Sprint version for Boost but decide to go ahead and change back over.

I agree Tito. I love me some AOKP and CM. :D

I love CM 10.1. I no longer have a LG Marquee due to someones case of sticky fingers. But I have 10.1 on my GS3 T999 and it is SWEET, I love the Photoshere and the "Project Butter", granted the Marquee isn't a T999, but the experience will be the same minus the NFC.

Sorry I've just been really busy lately. But I'm working on it.

Lol. TDM all the work you have done so far has been incredible. IMO if you had to drop development to spend more time with family or friends, more power to you. Not that I don't want you to stop dev-ing. :p:p I think what I'm really trying to say is: Thank your for all your hard work and for moving this phone along its way.

Patience people. Devs have lives and families. :o

so was there ever a working build of ics for the sprint lg marquee? tried reading through the pages here but I may have missed it. If so could someone post a link to the information I need to put ics on my phone?

I was wondering since the camera doesn't work would a camera app work or is it the camera itself that doesn't work?
It's probably that they need to write the driver for the camera to work. So to answer your question a camera app doesn't come with drivers and thus it wouldn't work.

I'm also guessing the driver for the optimus black camera is different enough that it wouldn't work?

Thanks all I need is camera and this would be my daily driver :)

Yeah there was a hard time tracking down the drivers for this camera. It has nothing to do with the app. The camera would pick up an image the color mapping was completely distorted and the levels are way off.

hey i heard that the paranoidandroid team has open sourced halo so would it be incorporated in the newest version or later versions of the ROM you make for the marquee?
