Root ICS/CM9-JB/CM10 Development Thread

So for giggles I installed your test 5 tdm, and I have a lot working so far. The phone is running great, I have gapps installed, root is working great, and I got adb over my wireless connection working. I have to say JB on this phone is unreal. This whops the other roms and I just started. Phone calls work great, let me know if any of this information is helpful or you want me to test other things, I am going to play with this for quite a while.

So I have tested out the AOKP and the CM10 builds available and by far I like CyanogenMod. I like the latter because it seems even less laggy then the official gb rom. The AOKP could use a speed boost. I also found for me the Mic doesn't work on either one. Thanks tdm for continuing support for the phone long after lg dropped support.

So I did all of the copying of the APN settings and now I have 3g, but I cant send or receive mms, did I miss something (Boost)?

I have found a few and tried, I think them all. Now I broke 3g some how doing them. I have copied over the apns-conf.xml the one with only the two boost mobile entries. Thats how I think 3g started to work. Then I added the apns, I tried both methods mentioned, the one where you add the Boost_Mobile and Boost_Mobile2 apns, they never show up no matter how many times I try to enter them, then I did the method where I added the home and Boost_Mobile apns and they at least populated, but nothing would work and now I have no 3g or mms, guess I messed it up good.

See if Phranti1c can maybe help you out. He's the one who originally found this fix. I quit running AOKP quite awhile back and have been working on MegaTron for the past few months so I'm really not up2date on this thread.

3g is spotty on aokp, so that's gonna cut in and out. I swapped the apn xml files and manually entered the apns. It's been a while I know it was working with 3rd party apps, not sure about stock messenger

I hope for cyanogenmod to at least get finished I enjoyed cyanogenmod on the LG optimus m I hope it gets successfully ported on the marquee :D
 
Ok I think I found some technical data sheet info stuff, the p970 and the marquee have the same board, different revisions. The black 000a and the marquee 0014. The black has an api level of 8 and the marquee 14. They have different screen density. Different camera focus modes. Different Radios, I know duh. For fun I am going to try and find better details, and if anyone uses anywhere near a similar setup, at least in the board and revision area.

So I'm having trouble finding any specific reference to our board other than press releases, however they say we have an omap3630. Here is a list from a wiki of ti products of phones with that board;

So I see on the op that audio is currently broken... Can someone please elaborate? I may know how to fix it

Edit: Never mind, rooted and flashed... Only thing wrong seems to be the camera at a glance... Gonna see what I can do to help... Can someone please point out any issues other than camera if there are any? (Long thread... Lol)

There were problems with speakerphone cutting out after about 10 seconds

The microphone does not work when you load Google now, adb just repeats the same error about not being able to load the device or something, I could re Flash my backup if need be to try and get a logcat for things if you need?

Whose build where you using tdms or bloodawns?
