On Ice cold sandwhich I got a few problems if anyone could help me solve them I would really appreciate it :D

- Firstly my phone doesn't vibrate when I receive SMS Messages ( But does when receiving messages from What's app chat)
- Secondly, everytime I change to next song the music volume goes to max, which allows everyone in my school class/ library hear it ....
- Thirdly, the buttons (home, menu, back, search) do not light up
- Fourthly, the viber application doesn't work
- Fifthly, ( probably not a rom issue since I had this since stock till now) My headphones get wrongly identified as headset which makes the device think I'm pressing buttons thus randomly skipping songs, (tried downloading headset blocker; no luck)
- Sixthly, Adobe flash player 11 doesn't work properly, since some websites don't let me view videos on it properly.
-Seventhly ( Is that how you write that xD?), ( more of a question) any way to get the screen turning off effect like on CM7 ( screen turns off like a old TV)?

Sorry, for bombarding people with issues, obviously I don't expect help with all of them but it would be really nice if I could clear up 1 or 2 problems.

1. - Sorry, I don't use the stock SMS app, so can't help on this one. I use Handcent and it works fine (but that doesn't really help, sorry!).
2. - This might have something to do with the long-hold skip function added to te volume buttons. Try messing with those settings to see if that sorts it.
3. - This happens if you turn autobrightness off. It's logged in the XDA thread. I'd keep autobrightness enabled for now.
4. - Viber doesn't seem to work with ICS, but they are aware. Suggest you follow this thread.
5. - Sorry, don't know, but it was reported in the XDA thread. Might be worth trawling it towards the last 20 pages or so to see if it's still a recognised bug.
6. - I assume YouTube used Flash? If so, then mine's ok. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing?
7. - Only if the ROM author adds it, I think.

1-Hmm I'll probably download handcent for now then,

2-Yeah I did disable the long hold skip function

3-Thanks :D

4- Guess I'll have to wait

5- Been looking through the post couldn't find anything worthwile

6- Yeah youtube works fine but just a couple of websites videos that worked before on Virtuous and CM7 don't work anymore/

7- Hope he does, I really liked that.

i know the that the backlight buttons was fixed on 1.4 test 2 BUT... i found with 1.4test 2 they bought over a different music player, which for me was a massive battery drain as was always running in the background, so i reverted back to 1.4 and the backlight buttons are working perfectly now,

also with the sms i found every time i flashed a new build it would turn off the vibrate option in sms options and sound option in the phone setting,

dont know if any of them 2 things help

This might be the fix you need for the SMS app, McCookie. Though personally, I'd still recommend a third party app like Handcent. Can't see the download for it there yet though.

Anyone know the fix to my music issue ? Whenever I press next song my music app automatically goes to Max volume, which disturbs the people around me, especially in class. I really need to fix this issue, preferably today.

are you on 1.4 or 1.4 test 1 or 2 ?

just trying to gauge which music app you have on there, im on 1.4 and dont get any options in the music app, where as when i tried 1.4 test 2 i had loads of options
 
iv put a post up on xda so ill see if i get a reply and let you know,

just a stab in the dark, in 'customization' 'miscellaneous tweaks' have you tried unticking 'volume music controls'

as i said, its a stab in the dark,

just had this back
'Turn off / freeze dsp manager and MusicFX. Download MusicFX from the market if you need it'

Weirdly I tried to freeze musicFX on its own and dsp manager on it's own but the problem would be still there , weird that both have to be freezed:/ anyway using volume+ instead of dsp manager, seems to do the job.
 
I have actually been able to take a picture and not have any issues with it... took the picture with a 3rd party app in landscape mode. If you take a second picture, then some of picture 1 bleeds in to picture 2... got around that by shutting the camera app down, waiting a couple of secs and re-opening!

Hey El im currently running google chrome at the moment and im really liking it, when flicking tabs in incognito i get a pink glitch but thats it,(only flicking inbetween pages) other than that i cant fault it,

D-U-R-X i had the bleeding problem with the camera which was a shame cos i use the camera a lot, found a camera app https://market.android.com/details?id=jp.co.haibis.android.angelcamera&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImpwLmNvLmhhaWJpcy5hbmRyb2lkLmFuZ2VsY2FtZXJhIl0.
iv had no issue with it wot so ever and give me good pictures every time with no bleeding

Yeah, I posted without seeing your other thread, sorry chief. Hopefully, when my EEE Pad transformer gets the imminent ICS update, I'll be able to give it a whirl.
 
I have pink background whenever flicking through any tabs :S, but my friend with ICS rom On galaxy nexus has a normal black background :/
 
I am running 1.3 at the mo, if I want to install 1.5, do i have to do a full wipe and start again? You know, the whole shabang?:o
