Also it took about 2 weeks for the Epic to get most of its problems fixed like the low 3g speeds problem, so you really don't know what you're talking about.

The positive: battery last 1+ days; screen was decent

What the raw figures don’t communicate is how responsive the Sensation feels in daily use. Side-by-side with the Galaxy S II, and it’s hard to tell the difference between the two phones: apps load quickly, webpages render at the same pace (in fact the Flash-heavy NYTimes.com frontpage finished on the HTC before it did on the Samsung). Even loaded down with simultaneously running apps, we didn’t feel like the Sensation was gasping for breath (or, indeed, for more RAM).
HTC quote up to 495 minutes talktime or up to 400 hours standby from the 1,520 mAh battery; having experienced two days use from a single charge on the Galaxy S II, we were eager to see how well HTC’s power management would perform on the Sensation. In practice, with push email turned on, periodic social network refreshes, some Google Maps and browsing use, and after 30 minutes of streaming TV using the BBC iPlayer app (using the Sensation’s speaker rather than headphones), and by the evening the handset was still showing around quarter of its charge.
That suggests that, with some judicious power management, you could get some way into the second day with the Sensation on a single battery. Not quite the performance of the Galaxy S II, but decent compared to the previous HTC Desire HD which was quite the glutton for juice.
The review aside; some of the pictures they took of the two phones side-by-side had some really good examples I might use in the future to show the difference between qHD-LCD and S-AMOLED+ to somebody else. The color and resolution differences are really obvious in the photo's.
What do you mean?Yes. They're both wrong - again.
What do you mean?

Why would it launch with 2.2 when the UK Version launched with 2.3.3 and its the same phone, that's a stupid comment. The Epic didn't have a Official FroYo until late but it did have leaked FroYo since November or December. Samsung's support does suck but they still deliver with their devices, especially hardware. How about you read some reviews on the phone before you make statements about it.

I will spare Samsung their TVs...they seem nice. But I just couldn't do it after intense research. Also it took about 2 weeks for the Epic to get most of its problems fixed like the low 3g speeds problem, so you really don't know what you're talking about.

I'm actually really jealous of you guys getting your Evo3Ds soon. It's such a nice phone and is a really nice upgrade to the Evo4G. I have to wait another few months for the SGSII or the Nexus 3 =(
This is just the friendliest Forum and it's fun to be around people excited about their upcoming upgrade! =)
On-Topic: Evo3D vs SGSII. I went and played with Sense vs TouchWiz for about an hour each yesterday. I'm going to take a lot of heat over saying this; but on a personal level I liked TouchWiz more. Also, I prefer the color in the S-AMOLED+ to the higher resolution qHD-LCD. Finally, I really have no interest in 3D whatsoever... kinda seals the deal for me. If I was a big fan of Sense, HTC, and loved 3D the Evo3D would be my choice, no questions asked.
There is no "best" phone though. It's what phone is best for you, personally.
)Look again. I mod there, I read all of it. Did you see the battery complaints? Taking forever to charge for some, and many others not getting a full day's use.
How about the guy who lost airplane mode on his phone but not his wife's. The list there is bigger than you've noticed, it seems.
Check out how the SGS 3, yes 3, will single-handedly destroy Apple with its mighty SAMOLED PLUS screen, soon to be qHD, the only good qHD. See the attacks for anyone suggesting SAMOLED can have burn-in. (Yes. It can. See the Captivate forum for one.)
It's a phone, it's a Samsung. Watch the invective and catcalling that occurs when people complain (as much as I've left behind). Faithful is a word.
Beware of people with signal strength issues claiming a software update will probably fix it. That was the early SGS dismissal for GPS.
