My mom is a telecom manager and has a Verizon corporate rep so I had her ask her rep when the release date is. She said stores will get the phone on may 17th! No word on price yet. I'll upload a screenshot of the email when I get into work for the non believers

hey bud, maybe you should have erased that name

This guy from the buffalo video says it's got a samsung S4 processor and cute little hd screen...
Hehe...wow, They would have been better off letting one us go do that vid...:D

He says "qHD", not "cute little HD". Still a major gaffe regarding the processor, though.

Reading the comments on all these videos, it's clear to me that people just don't realize just how good that S4 processor is. Everyone saying it's not enough of an upgrade, or it's basically a Rezound with a 4" screen, etc. This thing is going to smoke the Rezound.

You are so right...;)

Okay, I'm a nube on the site ,which I have been following for a couple weeks now. I don't know a ton about the Android phones but I know I'm not a Apple fan !
I started off looking at the Casio Commando, heavy duty, but the camera quality isn't there. Then Razr then Rezound..then comes along Inc' 4g. Let's confuse the heck out of him they say, not that much so !
All I want to do is have a good GPS ( geochaching-some road ) be able to play my tunes to my m'cycle headset, and have a GOOD camera so I don't lose my vacation pics again and yes a good phone.
I like the Rezound for the camera, image sense, but I've read where the Inc 4g won't have it. Am not a professional photographer by any means but I like quality pics..
My wife just last week got the A-i4s, haven't played with it yet but it does take a good pic. Thats my benchmark for picture quality.
So, if any of you phone affecionados could help me out I would be really greatful !!
PS..I'm with VZW, am up for new from now to August, would like to get new before they drop the data package deal in June from what I have read, been with them for at least 12 or so years and they've been pretty good about things.I 've been a 'flip phoner' (cool as it gets) for a long time too !
Again, thanks for any pointers and help you could pass along, keep up the great stuff on the site too !

I duno, I was really hoping for the imagesense. But I think I still might have to get this phone. I will just have to take 1080p hd video instead of 3 photos a second. That and my upgrade is on May 20th (hopefully close to launch day)

This site claimed a quadrant score of about 4600.

The 1.5 ghz At&T One X gets about 5000:

The Gnex...about 40-45% of that.

And I just got a 1366 on my Inc2. Anyone know what the Rezound gets?

EDIT: A friend who has the Rezound just ran it and got a 2182. So yeah, the Inc4G smokes the Rezound. ;)

Didn't you learn anything from the DInc2?

ok i am still considering this phone even though foxfi really wont work on it. ill find a way around it somehow.

basically i want a good phone that has the potential to last me 2 years.

i was really wanting the maxx but i am scared to death of the screen. so many reports of it cracking so easy.
almost got the rezound when it was on sale but didnt pull the trigger obviously.
the other phone is the bionic. just poor battery life and dont think it will get me close to 2 years.
might have considered the nexus but way too big of a screen.

a couple of guys at work have had htc phones and the speakers went out on them all the time and some other problems. dont know anyone with a moto phone.

so the question is since i have only have the casio and know that htc and motorola have their spin on the os. what do i need to look at on these 2 brands that might be different from what my casio "os" acts like. or shall i saw what spin do they put on it that makes it different that i should know about.

5 min in the store playing with the phone is not enough. i dont want to buy it then have to take it back because i dont like something. $30 restocking fee yuk.

When I found out the Incredible 4g had a 4 inch screen I bought the RAZR MAXX, and it is a great phone. To me it feels very well built, and the screen is beautiful. I know a lot of people complained that it was Pentile, but it is a big upgrade from my incredible. And the battery lasts me all day even if I use wireless tether for 5 or 6 hours. I would have loved to have had the S4, but so far the MAXX is a great phone. I would like to at least get a look at the Incredible before my return window is up, but if not I am very satisfied with the MAXX.

I don't think it'll be released on the 17th. The Evo 4G LTE is being released on the 18th, and I think Verizon is trying to give the Dinc4g its own release date away from other phones. Also it hasnt even gone into production yet. I'm not sure how early phones usually go into production before launch though
