All I know is that I'm going to keep my unlimited data, and by June 22nd I'm going to know what phone I'm going to get.

After June 28th,....right?![]()
Just move to Sprint. If my company didn't pay for my plan I'd dump VZW in a heartbeat. WAY too expensive.

I've looked into switching. Sprint is no cheaper... Not when you add in all the extra Voice\Text plan I would have to get in order to make up for all the Verizon Mobil to Mobil due to 90% of my family being Verizon customers. Not to mention Sprint has no coverage where I go in northern WI to my land.

What? Sprint has unlimited mobile to mobile on ANY CARRIER. Unlimited data and unlimited text. $80.
The lack of coverage would be a killer for me but doesn't Sprint roam on VZW networks at no extra charge?
Isnt training usually a week before release? If so they might release it on the 28th to celebrate the shared data plans that VZW is so proud of.Well, I just decided to pre-order the GSIII to ensure keeping my unlimited data since we have no news on the Inc4 (and I don't want to wait longer to get the phone since there have already been a lot of pre-orders). The CSR confirmed my plan will not change and I already paid for the device (and the stupid $30 upgrade fee). She also noted it in my account...
An interesting note though was that she told me they were receiving training on the Inc 4G next week, but she hadn't heard anything about release date.

Hey, don't we have 14 days to switch phones? If we don't like it? SGIII on the 28th or 1st, Inc4g by July 12th?Well after what the Telesales person told me, I'll be using my last upgrade on the 22nd as well. Probably go with the SGS3, or if they're out of stock the Razr Maxx. From what I've seen, both have better resale than the other 4G phones. Going strictly by resale, the i*hone would be the highest resale, but I don't want to possibly muck something up on my unlimited data going from a 4G to a 3G, & then back to a 4G.
So what do you guys think, do the SGS3 & Maxx have the best resale value of the phones on Verizon? Or should I consider another phone? This is strictly for resale. When calling Verizon today I ended up hanging up on the call once when reaching my thumb over to hide the dial pad on my 4.3" Rezound, so I think I need to go back to a 4" screen.
The only reason I would keep the SGS3 would be to use it only for media playback & web browsing so I don't run down my primary phone, but that seems like a waste.

or any phone not just the SGIII
or does it not work that way?
The more I look over this "Share Everything" plan, the more it's apparent that it benefits those who are on capped data plans, and punishes those on unlimited data or who have discounts tied to their current data plans (which both apply to my situation).
Yep, same here. Not a good value for me with my current usage. It's also really good for people with a phone and a tablet though. I may actually consider a data tablet in the future if I were on this plan.
That is correct. Is she on a 4G device now? If not you can probably upgrade her early before the plans go into effect. How about this one:
I'm eligible for an upgrade and want the Inc4G but will get theSG3 if I have to in order to keep the unlimited data. Problem is, the account and primary line is in my wife's name. When she upgrades in a few months or a year, will our whole plan (my line included) be put on the tiered data plan?

The way I understand it is, the new Share Everything shared data plans are totally optional. When you upgrade your phone, even after June 28, you may choose to stay on your current plan and not change to the new data share plans. The only change is that you cannot keep your unlimited data if you use your upgrade and would have to select one of the current tiered data plans (2G for $30, for example). How about this one:

I'm pretty sure though, if one line on a family plan changes to the new Share Everything family plans, then the whole account will also change. But, again, you can keep things exactly as they are now, except for the unlimited data. And that will only go away if the line that has the unlimited data upgrades to a new subsidized phone.
I still may wait until the 22nd to see if the Inc4g drops on the 21st.
