Didnt HTC clarify that ''some'' aspects of Sense 3.0 will be working for older models? I have to find that link lol.Oh well. That means I'll just keep weighing the pros and cons of upgrading to the 3D or sticking with my EVO 4G.

Not sure if this is old news or not (I did search), but...
If one is to believe the AfterDawn website (which is pretty reliable and has a quote from HTC), there will not be a Sense 3.0 update for any HTC phones with a single core processor.
Sorry older devices, HTC's Sense 3.0 is picky
Bummer. Here's hoping that they at least give us a token Sense UI feature update with Gingerbread.
This was posted here on the forum yesterday.
Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sense UI Leaks for HTC EVO 4G
This is NOT sense 3.0...
Android is made by Google. The next version to hit the Evo will be 2.3.Please explain the difference.

So is there such a thing as Sense 2.0 released to any HTC phones out there?

leaked ROM for the Pyramid Sense 3.0 phone weighs in at a whooping 580 mb

How much different is Sense 3.0 versus running something like Launcher Pro + Widget Locker? I see it has some things like light sensors to increase the ring volume if the phone is inside a pocket or increasing shudder speed on the camera, but other than those things is there much difference between Sense 3.0 and LP + WL?
I don't know if you guys have been following this but the leaked ROM for the Pyramid Sense 3.0 phone weighs in at a whooping 580 mb. There's no way our Evo's could handle that. Besides, if it NEEDS dual cores to run smoothly (which I doubt honestly), well I'll just keep my smooth Supersonic experience for now. Besides, it's just another version of Sense that I most likely would just cover up anyway. Although I do love that lock screen!
