Jelly Bean for Att... when?

It shouldn't be TOO much longer...VZW is ALWAYS last to do everything...and they have leaked 3 builds up to this point..so its getting close...

:D yea true the DX was the top beast of its time. It actually feels more solid than a lot of the newer phones out today

Not only from a build quality standpoint... But the DX could have been a flagship device for a significant amount of time if Moto had not locked it down so much...it would have had immense developer support

just let it finish the download and it will do the rest from there. it takes about 10min, the phone runs so much better. i have not seen any lag yet, and a few new options.

I'm not downloading the file from the GS3... I'm downloading the zip file to my mac

Tried via kites last night and this morning. Unrooted and on Windows 7. Last night, it would freeze after downloading. This morning it gets to the preparing update screen and then tells me decide not recognized.

FYI...updated through Kies on Windows 7 PC. Not rooted.

First try got a freeze up when the update itself was downloading from Samsung.

Second try Kies crashed after it completed downloading the update from Samsung.

Third try...success!...Took a bit of time for the actual firmware to install to the phone...more than 10 minutes...more like 20-25 minutes.

Kies also reports actual firmware build information now; before it stated (since I got the device) that firmware updates through Kies is not supported.

Kies is a big steaming pile of poo.

I can't, for the life of me, get this stupid program to connect to my phone. I'm having the same problem many people here are having.

I'm downloading the zip file from here

What I would like to know is... after the zip file downloads. All I have to do is to copy the zip file to the micro sd card and update from there?... that's it right?

I read in a website that all I have to do is turn off the phone and start it again while pressing the up volume key, the home botton and the power botton...

Just updated through Kies. Worked the first time. Rooted with clockwork recovery, no custom ROM. It does remove root though.

I would like to know this as well. If this is true why do you need to use Keis? Can't you just download the zipped file and sideload it to the micro SD card?

Upgraded to JB last night via Kies. Kies required it's usually upgrade first before it would start the upgrade. Was a very slow process - took about 1-1/2 hrs from start to finish. The phone appears to be working fine this morning. Haven't noticed any huge differences so far, however. What should I look for in JB?

OK... need help here.

I download the Jelly Bean zip file to my computer and copy it to the micro sd card in the S3... Turned off and turn on pressing the up volume key, the home key and the power key at the same time. I get a menu where I select update from external storage card. The phone starts to do something and then I get this error

E:signature verification fail

how can I fix this?
