Alright. As soon as its out ill try and flash it to my brother in laws.
Have you also tried switching the USB picture to apples version?
 
Loaded this up last night.

Verrrry smooth.

Thanks to this I may finally convince my wife to let me mod her Prevail :)

When in install a widget I cannot put icons on the same screen. Is there something I am doing wrong :questionmark:

As mentioned that's the way the launcher is. It is more like the iPhone user interface than it is like Android. Very different beasts.
 
Gave this a try yesterday afternoon. Everything functions well. APN seems to stick, 3G, Wifi, are working great. GPS locks quickly. Smooth...Lite...Quick....just as advertised. Not too many things these days...that I could say the same about. lol. Nicely done Sir. Not sure how those Iphone folks do it. I just couldnt take the cluttered look of my homescreens...so I installed Zeam Launcher, to get an App drawer to hide them in.

I would recommend Zeam, not very customizable...but lite and stable. Also, with all the apps in the drawer, you can add widgets to your homescreens. I added Dolphin browser mini too. The installed browser is very different from any I've used before. Im figuring it out...I think..lol. I'm using the No -ext version and installed S2E since its a CM7 base. So far it can't see my ext. partition...which is wierd, I'll try to reformat and see how it goes. Good job Kristopher!
EDIT: Reformatting did the trick S2e is now working just fine. Also APN does not stick after all. Glad to see you're working. on it.

Do you have an ext partition on your SD card? If not re partition your card & add 1 in clockwork mod, or try flashing the no-ext-katokernel as stated in the original post. It can be found in the kato kernel thread. Hope that helps.
 
Installation worked likes charm the first time deleted all caches 3 times and factory reset three times. Then installed.
I ended up having to redo it since i used my Google account to verify that market was working... and to my positive knowledge it was (ty for fixing it)
I had to reinstall rom to get rid of my gmail. This time it took a little longer to reboot. Was patient enough for it. Lolz.
The Tom works great now. And it installs perfectly.
No complaints on the roms side Bunyan brother in law. Ill ask him to tell me if anything funny happens. Debugging purpouses. Just wanna help.

well i am glad it is finally working for you ^_^ and thanks just let me know if something doesnt act right
 
Just flashed this. Have a few issues.

First off all my icons are the same. Looks like a boat with huge sails. Green yellow orange and red. Left to right. Only two icons came through ok. The calendar icon and the Espier Home. Every other icon is the boat thing. The icons on the dock are correct but the same icons on the home screen is the boat.

3g is not sticking. But I guess you guys already know. You must've overlooked that one kristopher5823.

As for the boat, tried flashing, reflashing, wiping, rewiping. Nothing. I did match up the md5 of my download to make sure the download is not corrupt. I do have a sdext...

Any ideas?

have to give the launcher time to load it does that at first just have to let it sit or you could try applying a theme to push through it and the 3g thing i am working on that as i type this decompiling right now to get 3g to work until i fix it go to settings operators apn then select boost then back out of it all
